Short chapter: Nightmares in the Emerald Lake incident!

Inside the dream...

Sheng Mey woke up peacefully near a cherry blossom tree and turned herself into an invisible spirit. With her newfound skill, she flew around the Cloud Recess and soared into the midnight sky, illuminated by the bright moonlight reflecting in the lake. A fisherman was present, who bore a striking resemblance to Mr. Po's brother from the war.

She ignored that story because she remembered him and decided to look around the boat. While flying around the boat, she spotted something underwater. 'Something is not right...Oh, no water demons! Sir, you have to get out of there right now!?!' She yelled at him. This never caught the old man's attention, as he saw something moving under his boat, which was kinda obvious that the thing swam rapidly around the boat, crawled over the boat, and jumped towards him.

And killed him in front of her own eyes; she knew that it killed her. That's when Mey thought she had gotten eaten by the water demon.

Dream finished~

She suddenly sat up, drenched in sweat from the nightmare she just had, reaching out for support to steady herself. Mey's eyes widened in alarm as she muttered to herself, "Oh no! The water demons appear in episode 4! I must..." Before she could rise from her bed, she began to cough up something that looked like... blood. 

Shocked, Sheng Mey clamped her hand over her mouth, trying to contain the spreading stain on the dorm floor. Attempting to stand again, she collapsed with a heavy thud, thankfully far from the boy's dormitory. Revealing her illness to everyone in this new world was the last thing she wanted.

Mey's heart started thumping rapidly as her ears pounded loudly. Once it became stronger, her eyes went so wide that her heart stopped, and so did her entire body for only five minutes. Once it happened, she started blinking her eyes again from her dorm. She decided to wash up her garments (which were her pajamas, of course!). 

Using the handmade soap, Mey noticed the blood-covered floor. As she pondered the blood that had emerged from her mouth, an idea struck. Grabbing a wooden bucket from her attire, she unlatched her dorm. Glancing at the clock, she yawned, muttering, "It's 3:00 a.m., and my heart condition is a pain; I can't let anyone, not even the Lan Clan, know about it.". 

"I I don't care about the 3,000 gusu rules; I need surgery for my 'Angina' (it's a Heart Disease that has happened to her since the accident in junior high school). Whatever, I'm just going to clean up the floor." Sheng Mey puts the bucket into the water and carries it to her dorm as she starts cleaning the floor.

Seconds later~3:07a.m.

Sheng Mey finishes cleaning the floor quickly as it dries fast with the cold wind. Her feet start to get cold, and she exclaims, "Brrrrr! It's freezing outside; I should go in." She closes her dorm, goes to bed, and tries to sleep but ends up staying awake all night.
