"Don't waste time just please tell the story" the boy says to his grandpa.

"Okay," the grandpa sits down.

The bandit's eyes slowly open. His head pounds, he tries to sit up, but his body doesn't move.

"Looks like the boy's waking up," a man's voice says.

A woman turns back to look at the bandit, "You up now?" she stares with a blank look on her face.

The bandit tries to move his head, he can't feel his hands. Suddenly, his eyes feel heavy and they close again.

"See, he ain't up," the woman says.

The bandit opens his eyes and he's laying on a field of grass. The wind was blowing softly as the clouds above him moved in the blue sky. A woman turns over on her back and grabs the bandit's hand.

"Caramelo?" the bandit says.

"Did you forget I was with you R?" Caramelo asks.

"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry" the bandit responds his voice a bit shaky.

"Oh, you're sorry now? Remember you promised we'd spend our lives together? Now, look at me" as she speaks her skin turns gray and her eyes turn white.

"No please, I didn't think it would happen" the bandit sits up and moves away from Caramelo.

"Join me R, show me you care," she says standing up.

Caramelo pulls out a shotgun and points it at the bandit.

"Please, forgive me," the bandit says.

"I will when you DIE!" she pulls the trigger.

"NOOOOOO!" the bandit sits up screaming.

"Hellfire! Boy! Well, now he's up" the man from before says.

"I reckon you didn't sleep good partner?" the woman from before says.

"Where am I?" The bandit says looking around.

"You's in the back of my wagon. We found ya laying there, at the bottom of the mountain" the woman says.

"Where are my- ah shit! My arm!" the bandit tries to move his right arm, but it's limp.

"I was telling ol' Boe here we gon' have to cut that off I reckon," the woman says.

"I'm telling ya, Sue, it'll fix itself," Boe says.

"So you say, I just don't think so," Sue says wiping sweat from her forehead.

"Did you take my guns?" The bandit says looking for them.

"You had no guns friend, you were hog-tied and unconscious when we found ya"

"Oh, where are you taking me?" The bandit asks.

"To our camp, it's a ways away in Arizona. Deep in the mountains" Sue says.
