Chapter 7

"Oh, Crystal dear!" she engulfed me in a hug. I looked at Jungkook who was distracted by something at the door.

"Why did you want to meet here?" I asked.

"So you can meet your fiance," she winked at me as two people sat across from us. Jimin with his head low and his mother sat in front of us. Jungkook looked at me as I walked towards the table and had a seat. I gave him a sign to wait and he reluctantly agreed.

"Hello Mrs.Park. A pleasure to see you again," I sarcastically said. She fakely chuckled before looking at me with narrow eyes.

"My Jiminie tells me that you have been denying his affection lately," she starts. My eyes look at Jimin who looks everywhere but at me. "Apparently he broke up with this 'Amy' girl, but you still refuse to love him. Why?" I chuckled before looking at Jimin.

"You finally broke up with her?" I asked him. He muttered a 'yes.' I nodded. "Let's see if that is true or not." I took out my phone and scrolled to Amy's number, which I managed to snag when we were talking alone that one day. I dialed her number and put it on speaker waiting for her to pick up.

Amy: Yes?
Me: Oh hey Amy!

Amy: Hey Crystal. What's up?

Me: How is Jimin doing? His mom has been scolding him for the arranged marriage lately.

Amy: Oh he's fine! He's more loving as ever. Although he has seemed to be avoiding me lately. I think he's planning something big!

Jimin stood up outraged and grabbed the phone.

Jimin: Amy, let's break up.

Jungkook's POV

I waited for this boring meeting to get over with, but it seemed like it would last longer than I thought. I saw a familiar face walk inside. It was... Amy.

"Hey Amy," I said to her, catching her attention.

"Oh hi Jungkook!" she warmly greeted. Ever since she and Crystal had talked, it seemed that there were no issues between the two of them. I heard a phone dialing and soon Amy's phone rang, she showed me the caller ID: Crystal. I looked over at the table and saw Jimin glaring at Crystal. I was hearing both sides of the conversation when Jimin abruptly stood up. Amy looked over, with the phone still held to her ear, and saw Jimin.

Jimin: Amy, let's break up.

POV

Amy: Jimin I-

Jimin: No Amy. It's over. I don't want to be with you anymore. I-I- I love someone else. I love Crystal.

My eyes narrowed on Jimin as I stood up as well. I heard a phone fall and looked back at Jungkook who was standing next to Amy. Amy walked over to us with tears in her eyes, Jungkook trailing behind with Amy's phone.

"Jiminie, you can't be serious right? After all that we've been through?" she spoke softly as if she was about to break. Jimin dropped my phone on the table and stood in front of Amy.

"I'm serious," is all he said. He grabbed my arm and pulled me into a kiss. I didn't have time to think before Jimin was ripped off of me and thrown into the wall by Jungkook.

"Young man, who are you?" my mother asked angrily.

"My name is Jeon Jungkook and I am your daughter's boyfriend," he said. Amy was sobbing at this point on the floor and I stood there stunned.

"Amy, let's go," I said to her as I grabbed her arm lightly and walked to the door. I bowed to the owner, apologizing for the ruckus we caused.

"W-wait," Amy said. I looked at her and she pointing to Jungkook.

"Ah, I'll get him. Wait here," I told her as she stood by the door.

"Jimin, I thought we were better than this," Jungkook said as he gripped Jimin by his shirt collar.

"Kookie, let's go," I softly said. Jungkook widened his eyes at how I had lost all of my confidence and dropped Jimin immediately.

"Choi Crystal, if you don't come back here this instant I'll abandon you," my mother threatened. I ignored her and left with Jungkook and Amy by my side. A few steps towards the car and I collapsed onto the pavement.

Amy's POV

I felt so broken as I walked out of the restaurant. Jimin had always told me that no matter what, he would stay by my side.

>Flashback, before Crystal<

"Jiminie!" I yelled as I jumped into his arms.

"Ah, hey Jagiya," he said.

"What's wrong?" I asked him. He looked down low and I lifted his chin up. "You cheated on me. Didn't you?" I back away and he ran after me.

"I'm sorry baby. I'm so sorry," he sobbed and hugged me. I was crying but he sobbing into my neck. We sat on a nearby bench.

"Why do you always hurt me?" I ask.

"I need you. I need you. I'm so sorry," I comforted him and eventually he fell asleep in my lap.

"Even though you hurt me. I'll always be here for you," I whispered.

"And I'll be here for you baby," he said before kissing me.

>End of Flashback<

As we neared the car, I felt faint but before I could faint, Crystal fainted onto the pavement. My dizziness disappeared as I caught her before she fell onto the pavement. Jungkook helped me get her to the backseat and I let her lay in my lap as Jungkook drove to Bangtan's place. I never noticed it, but Crystal really was beautiful inside and out. No wonder Bangtan loves her. I was so mean to them, because I never let my walls down. I started crying silently in the back as I thought about how terrible I was.

"I still wander, wander, beautiful story. I still wonder, wonder, best part. I still wander, wander, next story. I want to make you mine," I sang quietly in the back before falling asleep with tears rolling down my face.(the song was scenery sung by Taehyung of course).
