Chapter 27

The guys went out the room as I Skylar’s head was on my lap. She finally calmed down and she fell asleep. It hurt me seeing her like that, in so much pain.

I was stroking her hair as she was sleeping as I saw her sweating a little from her forehead.

I heard the door open and it was Jai he saw us and came over to us and sat down beside me.

“She will get better Luke.” He said.

I didn’t reply I just stood their trying to fight back my tears.

“You okay bro?” He asked.

I began crying as Jai hugged me in a weird way as Skylar was on my lap but I needed it.

I was crying on his shoulder as he was rubbing my back.

“I can’t see her like this.” I cried.

“I know, but we will help her don’t worry.” He said.

I controlled myself and stopped crying as Jai told me that we have to go back down to finish signing. He called Felicity over as she would stay with Sky as I kissed her forehead and left the room.

Skylar’s POV:

I woke up feeling really hot and sticky. I opened my eyes seeing Felicity right beside me on her phone. I got up and held my head as it was aching.

Felicity noticed I was awake and put her phone away giving her attention to me.

“How you feeling?” She asked me.

“Great.” I said sarcastically.

“Here.” She passed me a pill and a glass of cold water. I took it down as it went down my throat refreshing me.

“Thanks.” I told her passing her the empty cup as she put it beside her.

“Where’s Luke?” I asked.

“He’s downstairs working on some Janoskians stuff with the guys.” She said.

“Oh, okay.” I replied.

“You want to go out today? Like me and you?” She asked.

“I don’t know Felicity, I don’t feel to good and I’m scared going out knowing there is a girl who hates my guts.” I said truthfully.

Felicity frowned and nodded her head.

“I understand.” She said.

“No you don’t, you don’t know how it feels to know someone is threatening you about telling everyone about your fucked up passed where life was nothing but a nightmare. That’s the only thing that is in my head every minute of every hour. I’m scared Felicity. I don’t want to get hurt again, it’s too much. I feel as if I’m like a crazy person you guys have to take care of and I don’t want you guys to think like that. I’m sorry. But that diary means so much to me.” I said.

“We are here for you Skylar, and we don’t think you are a crazy person. You will get through this don’t worry.”

“I keep trying to get through it but something always pulls me back.” I said with my head in my hands.

“When my sister was sick, I couldn’t even look at her. I was basically watching her die and I couldn’t do anything. When she passed away I felt as if my other half was gone. I began drinking doing drugs and of course smoking. I was a mess and I thought that was going to my life. Whenever I thought something good will happen it would always be worse than I expected. But it changed when I found Jai and it got much better, he helped me through my struggles and addictions and I got through, and you will too I promise you. Luke and the boys and me are all here for you to help all you have to do is let us in. What was written in that diary Sky?”  She told me.
