My brother, my dog,
Sarge and I were like no other.
A girl, his owner,
We were sister and brother. Our lives were fun together,
Sarge and I, family with pride
Till the day they took you from me,
Things were always on the sunny side.I missed his white fur, his brown eyes,
Sarge and I, to me were inseparable,
His Elvis smirk, his brown spotted ears,
Everything I missed about him still makes me miserable. One day, a bite was all it took,
Sarge and I, to be nothing anymore.
What did I do? What could I have done?
He did it, now he's home no more.It felt like a mere dream.
Sarge and I, to be together again,
But to let him near my family,
Would only make a huge chance of pain. Now, we never spoke nor played.
Sarge and I, wished to be together like the very first time.
I wish you were here to stay.
"Sarge, dear brother, ready for playtime?"
