🎊 Happy New Year! 🎊
Megatronus walked into the throne room of the Nemesis and saw two of his most troublesome subordinates whispering to each other with servos over their mouth plates. "Starscream, Knockout, what are you both doing?"
The two bots jumped apart from one another as if standing on hot steel, optics wide and jaws slack. There was silence, and Megatronus vented internally. "Do not make me repeat myself."
"Ah-of-of course not, my Lord! We were actually speaking about you, my Lord! I did not believe Starscream when he said you were back- as you know he's got a bit of loose wiring up in his old processor-" The red and white Decepticon leaned forward with a servo shielding his mouthplate conspiratorially. "But now that I see it is true, I am filled with great relief." A winning smile was flashed towards the large Decepticon Leader, but Megatronus' grey-metaled faceplate did not so much as twitch. Knockout cleared his ingestion wiring in the silence, shooting lasers out of his optics with his glare at the retreating Starscream. "I was wondering, my Lord, if you would allow me to examine you?"
Megatron's red optics intensified in their stare, causing the medical bot to stutter back a step. "I-it is only for the sake of yourself, my liege. Do be assured. I only wish to make sure you are in good health."
Megatron hummed before inclining his helm. "Very well. But perform your scans quickly. I have business that needs to be attended to."
Knockout took a step forward, taking his optics from the faceplate that haunted his recharges, and began scanning Megatron's body, wiring, and armor.-
Knockout gasped as he looked at the final results of the scans as they appeared on the hologram connected to his gauntlet. Megatron looked down at the Decepticon in mild interest. "My Lord! I've never seen anything like this before! You have the power of the Allspark in your spark!" The medical bot brought up scan after scan as he looked further into his data, not noticing as the great gladiator stepped closer to look at the data as well. "It must have happened when the Allspark was thrust into your chassis. I had wondered how you survived such a fatal attack- the Allspark must have given you some of its power to keep you online! Oh, I'll need to find as much information on this as I can. This could be the big break we were looking for, my Lord!"
Thoughts whirling through his helm, Megatron dazedly let Knockout go after gruffly ordering him to bring back any other information he could gather. The data was correct. Knockout had prided himself on having the most up-to-date programs of all the medical officers back on Cybertron.
The Allspark was not lost?-
Harry grimaced as he felt his magic tug at him. His 'spidey-sense' hadn't gone off over the last few days, but now it seemed his little grace period was over. And it needed to end now.
The uncomfortable feeling of being pulled was continuous as Harry quickly sure he didn't have any stray objects lying around Megatronus' cave-thingie. He really needed to learn what this chamber-like thing was called.
Concentrating on the look of Megatronus' large shoulder, imagining it was the safest place to attempt to apparate to, Harry close his eyes and twisted.
Appearing with a small 'pop' of air that always signaled aparation, Harry found himself ducking underneath the swinging hand of Megatronus. "Hey, hey, it's me!"
The large, silver hand stilled in its path back towards the Arcane Healer before Megatronus' head turned, his bright red eyes looking straight at the tiny human. "Harry Potter? How did you manage to get out of my Spark Chamber?"
Harry's electric green eyes blinked up at the massive robot before his words sunk in. "That cave I was in was your Spark Chamber? I was wondering what it was called. And it was by means of apparation- the teleportation thing I was telling you about earlier."
A smile spread on the Decepticon Leader's face, but it was quickly shrouded in worry when Harry grimaced again. "What is wrong, Harry? Are you injured? Was this teleportation too much for you?"
Harry's black hair covered his eyes as he looked down in shame. "No. It's my magic. I need to leave, to go back to healing people. It's trying to pull me away now, but I wanted to let you know before I left."
Megatronus' face lost all emotion in the span of a second at Harry's declaration. "I... see. Is there any way I could request you come back? You are one of the only beings that I can trust currently, and I find myself enjoying our time together, learning of one another's experiences."
Harry's eyes grew wide, and a smile grew on his face. "You seem to misunderstand. I am not leaving forever, merely for an unknown amount of time. I may have healed you of your physical problems, but the mental ones stack very high. Getting rid of the possession in your mind was merely the first stepping stone."
Megatronus blinked at Harry's statement, before a tight bolt between the mech's shoulder plates lessened in relief. "Very well then, I am glad despite the knowledge of my mental health's poor state. I hope to see you soon, Harry Potter."
The Arcane Healer smiled happily in response, sending a jaunty wave towards the big robot. "See you, Megatronus."
And with a pop, the little human was gone.-
Apparating in the alley of two large skyscrapers, Harry quickly appraised his surroundings. It seemed he was in New York City in the middle of an earthquake, and, by the large cracks in the ground, the buildings around him were all breaking from their foundations.
Quickly sitting down cross-legged and ignoring the screams of people as they ran around attempting to find shelter, Harry rubbed his hands together in preparation. Placing them on either side of his legs, palm-up, Harry shut his eyes and delved deep into his magical core.
Large wisps of blue magic emanated from the Arcane Healer as he set to work, tendrils of magic snaking through the cracks appearing in the ground to wrap around the foundations of the skyscrapers, reinforcing them as they creaked and groaned under the stress of the swaying buildings.
Minutes later, the shaking stopped, and Harry let his head fall against his chest, his hair soaked in sweat and his muscles burning from magical exertion. Panting, Harry commanded the bits of his magic remaining around the buildings to strengthen the foundations so he wouldn't have to come back every time the Big Apple had an earthquake.
His job done, Harry flopped backwards against the cool, hard pavement, only to feel his magic tug on him again, and the green-eyed wizard disapparated with a groan.
