Jennie's POV
"Nini, do you know the story here?" She blurted out while back hugging me.
"Hmmm?"
We were in a park, standing in front of a big tree, with no leaves.
"They say that this is the oldest tree alive. Even if a lot of seasons passed, it's still strong." She explained as we felt the breeze of the wind.
"Woah...that's cool." I reacted.
"I know right. That's why I brought you here...to promise that my love for you would be like this tree."
She held onto my hand tighter, intertwining her soft hands with mine.
I looked back at her.
"Since when we're you so corny, huh?"
I raised an eyebrow at her, and she just shrugged which made us both laugh.
....................
I sighed as I stare at the big tree in front of me. I looked up, admiring the leaves.
2 years, huh....
I smiled bitterly and felt the warm air passing through me.
Time flies too fast... and
I miss you so bad.
I felt something on my face. I sighed once again.
"Hey..are you okay?"
An aussie accent suddenly distracted my thoughts so I look where it was from.
I saw a tall girl that looked like a chipmunk, who looked at me worriedly.
"Yeah." I wiped my face with my thumb and dud my best to smile at her.
She sighed and it was loud enough for me to hear.
"Coffee?"
I smiled, accepting her offer.
"Goodbye.."
Somewhere, there was someone or more like something, watching the two from above, smiling bitterly.
