Lisa's POV
"For this last one,"
Oooohhhs filled the place as the instrumentals began.
"I would like to dedicate this,"
Standing, I glanced at everyone, telling them these things. I gulped as if I didn't want to continue. As if there was something stopping my voice.
I breathed out deeply and continued.
"To my enemy."
...............
"Ouch!" I said as I realized what happened.
I jumped over the fence, then suddenly there was someone on the other side, allowing us to bump into one another.
"Tch! If only you didn't jump!" The girl glared at me like a cat.
For some reasons, I couldn't help but smile. She was cute.
I stood up, brushing the dirt on my clothes, and offered my hand to her, with a friendly smile on my face.
But she just pushed my hand away and stood up by herself.
"Oww.."
I heard her groan, which made me worried.
"Aahhh!"
I carried her after seeing a bruise on her leg because of the fall.
"Put me down?!??!!!"
"If I put you down, you'll fall then you'll have another bruise."
"It's your fault in the first place that I have this bruise."
"How is it my fault if you were the one standing on the other side???"
"Tch! Am I the one who jumped over??? Huh?"
And our bickering never ended.
...............
"...... To my best friend."
I smiled bitterly.
...............
"So....friends?"
I offered my hand.
"No."
But she left it hanging.
I shook my head, not believing I was rejected to become her friend??
It gave me the urge to convince her. It was like a challenge. I was always friendly and I just couldn't accept that she didn't want to be my friend.
From that day, I would always annoy her and stick close to her. Well, she was interesting...
"So when do you plan on not bothering me?"
She suddenly stopped walking and turned around facing me.
I smiled at her goofily, "never."
Then, she just rolled her eyes.
But as time went by, we became closer and eventually, we became friends. Even if she was always annoyed by me, I believe we were friends, and it turned out to be something more.
...................
"....To my partner in crime."
I continued.
....................
"Faster!!!"
She was telling to move closer and move faster.
"What if they see us because of your slowness huh??" She was lowkey reprimanding me as we stopped for a while.
I giggled at her cuteness.
"Don't worry, they won't." I assured her, flashing a quick smile.
"Mnmnmmm!"
"Who's in there?!?" A security guy shouted, pointing his flashlight near us so I quickly pulled her, covering her mouth.
"Shhh..." I whispered and little did I know, I was back-hugging her.
It felt weird.
Starting that night, I became confused. The feeling. The tension. Her. Us.
She was someone I did everything with. From pranks to studies, we were together.
Little did I know, I would always stare at her, admiring her. Damn, I already fell since day 1.
................
"To...my home.."
Somehow, I hesitated. My voice weakened.
...................
I woke up as I felt warmth on my front side. Someone was cuddling against me, which made me smile.
As I opened my eyes, I met a pair of orbs, darker than a well, like it was absorbing me.
"Good morning." She flashed her gummy smile, melting me.
Damn. She's brighter than the sun.
"Good morning, love."
I whispered against her ear.............
"...To my angel.."
I glance at the crowd, smiling, then I looked up, reminiscing the past, remembering her.
"Five years, huh.."
Little did I know, my vision became blurry. Tears. A tear fell, remembering the love of my life vividly as if I just saw her yesterday.
Jennie.
She was smiling at me with her gummy smile. Damn. Beautiful.
And her eyes locked with mine, sparkling.
"..It's been five years..since my angel...went back where she belonged..."
I continued, with my voice cracking.
Silence filled the place.
Then, I breathed deeply, looking back at the crowd, smiling as I wiped my tears.
"This is for you Jennie, thank you for being the best part of my life.
I love you...always and forever."
I grabbed the mic and sang: Best Part.
