Sitting alone in a cafe you watched the snow softly rain down through the window. It was lovely December day and you were in a cafe drinking a cup of hot f/f. You watched the hustle and bustle of city go by. Parents going to buy cristmas gifts for the family. Workers and students excitedly going home for winter. But the one thing you hated seeing was right in front of you. a lovely couple holding hands keeping them warm from the cold.
You wished you were like that again. It pained you to even think about them. Especially with only two days until Christmas. The warmth of their hugs were now just an empty memory. They way they cared about you was over. And their smile. That damned smile. That was engrave in your head like a scar. You could never get rid of it.
With the memories now haunting you, you got u and left the Cafe (with a tip of course). It pained you to think about them. Especially this time of year.
The snow calmly fell down on the pavement, the cold nipping at your cheeks and nose. At least you felt as cold on the outside like you did on the inside? Making it to your apartment you quickly got insid away from the cold. No decorations, no lights, no tree. Just like any other day.
Just another day with out them. Another lonely Christmas.
