The following Monday they were all set,  they had everything in place and ready.  Walking into the court room Mary sat looking at Elayna with a smug smile, Elayna just ignored her and sat next to Lowen. The judge started with Mary, "What proof do you have that the defendant is incompetent?" "Well, I have always taken care of her because she never could make good choices, she is not all there mentally, she didn't even make it in school. She has never been on her own and the first thing she does when she leaves is hook up with bikers." "Ms. Johnson what do you have to say." Lowen nodded to her to let her know she could go ahead, "First off your honor, I have never been on my own, because Mary wouldn't allow me to leave. As far as school I didn't finish because Mary needed me to work at home cleaning and cooking. She never treated me well, she would abuse me and tell me I was worthless and no one wanted me. I recently left because a client of hers attacked me at home and.." Mary yelled out, "That a lie she is lying your Honor!" "ENOUGH! Keep quiet or I will remove you." "Anyway, after he attacked me a friend of mine who knew my father helped me get to him, my father took me in and helped me get a job and a place to live. I have come so far since leaving her." "Ok, we will have a fifteen minute recess while I make my decision." Walking out into the hall Mary came up to them, "You little bitch, how dare you say those things, I never treated any other way than what you deserved." Lowen stood in front of Elayna, "Refrain from talking to my client or I will bring you up on harassment."

Fifteen minutes later they were called into the courtroom, they made their way to their tables and waited on the judges decision. "After hearing the testimony from both parties I conclude that Ms. Johnson is of sound mind and fully able to care for herself. I find she does not need anyone to take care of her. Case dismissed!" Elayna smiled "Thankyou your Honor, oh and one more thing," smirking at Mary then smiling at the judge, "Its actually Mrs. Quinn now, I got married on Friday." "WHAT, you, you can't be married. I won't allow it." "That's enough Ms. Johnson! Congratulations Mrs. Quinn and good luck." Walking out of the courtroom Elayna felt ten feet tall.

Waiting outside for Mary to show Elayna stood quietly, when she saw Mary she waited for her to come to her. "YOU, YOU How could you, what the hell are you thinking?" "Well, I'm thinking I love him he loves me and that's all that matters. Oh and by the way there is the little matter of 8 million dollars, yeah I know about that, just so you know that if anything happens to me you still won't get it. There is actually around 8 people ahead of you that will. Anyway, have a nice life Mary." Then she walked to her car with a huge smile on her face.
