There was no Lisa here like my dream last night, but there was something for sure. An aura? A sense of presence? I could feel it but couldn't put my finger on it. I kept going despite the uneasy feeling deep inside me because I had to find out. There had to be something that made Lisa, my timid little friend, brave enough to wander about alone at night. The stairs were getting extremely long, and the bunny was gone as well. I wonder where it went. 'Did it have a home here somewhere?'

"Ktk!!" 'What was that? Did I just hear a lock opening?' I went towards the sound. It came from above, probably from the shrine up there. I started running upwards and there it was, the shrine, just as I have seen it in my dream. It was isolated, more like abandoned, in the middle of the forest. It seemed like no one came here anymore, as there was ivy growing up the roofs and walls. I went forward to have a closer look, to see if it holds any clue of me being here. "Ktk!!" 'There, I heard it again'. This time it was nearer than before, coming from my left. 'From the well??' That's all that was on the left side. An ivy covered, old and probably dried well. What was producing that sound then? I started taking little cautious steps towards it and "Ktk!!" I heard it again. As I neared the well, I peeked inside it and there was a broken pail dangling from a worn out rope which looked like, it would be broken pretty soon too. The pail was colliding with the walls of well, "Ktk!!" producing these strange sounds. It was nothing after all. I started to turn around when I saw something in the corner. A wooden board or something. It was not visible at first because of all the wild plants creeping over it. Maybe it was a famous well of its own times so it was given a name. 'It wouldn't hurt to spend a few more minutes here, right? I will be on my way back once I see what that board says. A little curiosity won't offend anyone, now would it?' As I cleared the moss from the board, words started to become visible but they were all smitten. 'W.I.H.I.N.G. What does that make? I think I see an S there too. Wishing?' I kept on reading. 'W.E.L.L. Well. Wishing Well? Hmm, it seems to be pretty old. Does it still work?' I thought humorously to myself, as such things did not exist in the real world, nor does anyone believe in them anymore. It said something else too, so I went on:

                              WISHING WELL

"DROP A COIN, AND MAKE A WISH".

'A coin, huh? Interesting. I wonder if people really wished upon it back then. Let's try it, shall we? I'm here anyways, so why not?' As I dropped a coin from my pocket into the well, it made a promising splash in the water down there. At least it's not dried up like I thought. Right at that moment, something began to change in the atmosphere. I felt the presence from the earlier again. I started anticipating for whatever was coming, but I didn't know that I had forgot to read another important detail on the board. Probably because I didn't really believe in my wish to come true, or I was still thinking that it was just a dream. Whatever it was, it kept me from seeing another writing there, in the bold:

"But Be Careful What You Wish For.

Some Wishes Really Do Come True."

I could have saved myself and my friends back then, if I had read the board carefully to begin with.
Or probably, if I had listened to Mr. Carter, or Lisa for that matter, and hadn't set foot in this place. But it was already too late and the damage was done. I had to bear the costs of my doings in any way.
