Perfect Two

chapter 1

"Hina, you're so talented, every surgery you have is succesful so far since you started here."

"Uh, thank you for the compliment but I actually want to move out from Konoha General Hospital."

"Why? Don't you want to be a doctor anymore? A very talented doctor like you must stay on the career or else your years in college would be a waste."

"Who told you that I am quitting my job, Nurse Tenten? As what I am saying I am just going to move to another workplace. I want to serve the country by being a military doctor. I think I would be more useful in there." Hinata smiles as she explained her goal to her close friend.

"But what if you will get injured in there? I heard that military doctors go to missions like soldiers too but the difference is that they only heal the wounded and stay in the camp but I am still worried about you Hina."

"It will be fine Tenten. I also want to serve the country and this is my passion. I should follow it."

"But how about Hyuga Corp.? Maybe your dad will be disappointed if he will hear this. He was once disappointed when he knew that you were going to take the medical course how much more this one." Tenten explained worriedly to her.

"My dad will agree to this. Anyway, I am at the right age to decide for myself right? And the Hyuga Corp.? I know Hanabi could handle it well with the help of Neji." She smiled assured to Tenten to keep her from not worrying." Hinata deep inside was actually worried that her dad won't let her go to the military. She just want to prove herself to her that she isn't a weak person like everyone tells her.

"So are you really going to leave me here Hina? I am really going to miss you. There will be no doctor as good as you here in this hospital."

"Don't be silly Tenten. I will visit you from time to time if I am not busy. You are a good nurse Tenten. I am sure you can handle things without me."

"Okay then, but you should keep me promise."

"What is it?"

"If you find someone in the military whose handsome and hot, please help me get his number okay?"

"Okay, copy." They both laughed so hard that they teared up a bit.

Upon going home, Hinata thought about her explanation to her dad since he is the type that does not accept proposals directly. He needs alot of explanations and words to be convinced and she just hope that he would consider her plan.

*knock knock*

"Come in." Her dad said with a cold voice.

"Hello dad, I just got home from the hospital. I brought you some dango from Tenten's treat awhile ago." She handed a box of dango to her dad's table as she sat quietly on the chair near the table. The atmosphere was intense yet silent. Only the sound of the pressed keys of her dad's laptop can be heard. She was actually arranging and planning about her thoughts and how she would expalin things without any complaints.

"Uhm dad, can I have a minute of your time?" Hinata said as her hands feel cold due to nervousness.

"Yes what is it all about?"

"Uh, I just want to have your permission if you allow me to work as a military doctor. Please dad, I want to follow my passion. My passion to serve the country by healing our heroes, our soldiers. Since I am acknowledged by many about my skills in my job, I think I would be useful in a military base.

"Aren't you useful enough in a regular hospital? You are still serving for our country if you stay and I am about to retire in the company as the CEO and I want you to take over it. We can't afford you to get injured because you are needed." Hiashi explained to his daughter. He was not only worried about the company but he was also with his first born daughter. He could always pass the company to Neji but he wanted Hinata to stay inorder for her to be safe.

"But dad, I also want to challenge myself and to prove to everyone that I am not weak." She spoke herself from her heart as her eyes expressed seriousness and passion. Hiashi was indeed impressed of her daughter but maintained his cold composure towards her. He never knew that her daughter was this brave despite of all those people who humiliate her. He never want to force her to take over but he saw a big potential within her that makes a good leader in their company. But Hiashi was convinced for the second time. He allowed Hinata to go and chase her passion. She has a good heart and he knows she would develop her skill even more.

"I am proud of you Hinata. I never knew you were this passionate and brave like your mother. I will allow you this but I have one condition."

"What is it dad? I will really comply it inorder for you to allow me."

"Hinata, please...please be safe always." He hugged her daughter and she hugged him back as a sign of thankfulness. Hinata was so moved by his father's words. He used to be cold but this time he was warm like a blanket. She never expected this to happen but destiny is something that you cannot escape.
