Perfect Two

chapter 4

Hinata was about to go out of the restroom until a redheaded woman arrived. She accidentally bumped into her.

"Are you blind??!"

"I'm sorry, I wil-"

"Don't you know who I am? I am the newly promoted captain of area C, Captain Karin Uzumaki, now move and know your place!"

She bowed down to her and apologized again. She realized that she must be very careful in bumping into people here in her workplace. It is a struggle for her to adapt such place full of arrogant people but she will accept the challenge.

As she went back to the office, she noticed that the door was a little bit open so she peeked on it. She saw Ino with a military guy. He is somewhat similar to the guy she bumped into awhile ago but that guy was way too paler and still not admitting that the arrogant guy she met earlier was more handsome.

*knock knock*

"I am back Ino."

"Where did you go Doctor Hina? Well by the way this is Lieutenant Sai. I met him awhile ago at the canteen."

"Oh, nice to meet you Lieutenant Sai."

"It is a pleasure to see you Doctor Hyuga."
Sai and Hinata shook their hands. A sound of a call from the Lieutenant caught the attention and answered it.

"Excuse me for awhile."

"Yes, General....okay I will be there in a minute."

"It seems like you are in hurry Lieutenant Sai." Ino spoke.

"Yeah, I should see you both around, goodbye." Sai waved goodbye to the girls and went out to the room.

Sai knocked the office's door and went in as he noticed that the officials are all in the room. He suspected that something was not good.

"General Uchiha, some of our comrades got injured by saving Mr. Peng. Most of them are critical in state but luckily Mr. Peng is not wounded." A soldier reported.

"Send medics and the troops. Call a helicopter, I will be accompanying and checking those who are in there." Sasuke commanded.

"Copy, General." The assistant did his task.

"I will go call the medics and prepare them to the helicopter." Sai volunteered as Sasuke nodded as a reply. Sai came running to the clinic and went inside.

"Excuse me Doctors, the General commanded that you should be ready and prepared for the rescuing of our comrades. They are critically injured due to their mission. Please be ready in 2 minutes. The helicopter will arrive soon. Please take care." Sai exited the room and reported everything to Sasuke.

"Hey, Doc. Hina. I am actually kind of scared. This is our first mission and I-"

"It will be fine Doc. Ino. It is normal to be nervous in every first time we take. We will just try our best to save them." Hinata held both Ino's hands to keep her calm.

"We should start preparing now. We might disappoint them." Hinata smiled as she prepared her stuff for first aid. She knew that the area is still not safe so she alsoe prepared herself from unexpected events.

*ring ring*

Ino's phone rang as she grabbed and answer her phone.

"Hello Lieutenant....yes we will be there on time." She said a she blushed a bit for the fact that Sai called her.

"Who was that Doc. Ino?"

"Oh, it was Lieutenant Sai. He told me that we should meet up on the field and wait for the helicopter to land." Ino replied to Hinata.

"So since when did you just got his number?" Hinata asked Ino.

"Uhh, I think we should be going now." Ino hesitantly dodged Hinata's question. She blushed a bit as Hinata's face expressed curiousity.

"Okay then." They left the clinic and waited  for the helicopter. Suddenly a sound of a propeller alarmed them and on time, Lieutenant Sai arrived. The helicopter landed. A tall, pale and handsome guy with a suit of a commander showed up from the helicopter and called the Lieutenant. Because it was a night time, Hinata and Ino could not totally see the General's face, but Hinata felt like he met him before.

"Lieutenant Sai, are the troops all sent ahead to the area?" The general asked.

"Yes, General. They went 5 minutes earlier and reported to us that the area is safe."

"Good." He replied.

"Uhm, Doc. Hyuga and Doc. Yamanaka please go inside to the helicopter." Sai retorted.

"Uh, are we the only medics who are going to go in there? I guess it will be really hard for us to cope up to every injured soldier if we are only two." Hinata told Sai.

"Oh, don't worry Miss Careless. I am not dumb as what you have expected. I sent medics together with the troops awhile ago." Sasuke told Hinata. Hinata's eyes widened as she recognized him.

"So you are the General that they feared for." Hinata told him.

"Yeah, I am. Impressed?"

"Are you sure Lieutenant Sai that this guy is your General?" Hinata asked.

"Affirmative, Doc. Hyuga." Sai answered with a smile that made Ino blush a bit.

"Are you doubting my position Miss Careless?" Sasuke annoyingly asked the Hyuga.

"I am afraid that it is a yes so what? You don't have the manners of a general." She replied and the rally continued as they rode the helicopter to the area. Ino, Sai and the pilot sweatdropped as they verbally fought each other. The helicopter was noisy but there is one thing that Sai was surprised about. It was the fact that Major General Sasuke Uchiha was talking this much to a woman. He chuckled.
