Losing You

Chapter 1

Clarian's Pov

I never really knew what love was til I met him...

It was in December 21st, when I saw him again. The boy whom I fell in love with at the age of 7. He has a handsome face with cute dimples, and has a light complexion. he's quite tall and has a smile that could melt any girl's heart.

seeing him again for the last 3 years has made me long for his presence. He was my best friend and no matter how much I love him we can never be together..

"hey!" I said.

"hi! did you miss me?" he replied while smiling.

"nah, why are you here anyway?" I replied, trying to hide my excitement.

"awww... what's wrong with you? you don't miss me at all. I'm really glad to see you again Clare." he said while pouting.

I made a face and told him, "well, you've been gone for 3 years without telling me where you've been.. I thought you left me." I replied sadly.

he walked towards me and without hesitation, he embraced me. I knew it was wrong but It feels really good to be held in his arms again especially in this cold winter.

"I will never leave you, you know that right?" he said before saying "we're best friends remember?"

I nod my head and fell into his warm embrace.

after how many hours of talking and spending time together in our secret garden. I finally bid him farewell and left. when I looked back, he was still watching me and so I waved my hand and said goodbye again. this time, he waved back then turned around and left.

After he left, I felt alone and sad again. so I decided to go back home. I went to the largest tree in the forest then slowly waved my hand in front of it. then glitters appeared and the magical portal opened, which resembles a hidden door that looks like its part of the tree.

I took a deep breath, then walked into the portal where it will transport me to my kingdom. My kingdom is actually not in this world but somewhere you never even knew existed. Remember stories about fairies and magical creatures when you were little? well, they are real. my kingdom is called pixiehollow and yes, you guessed it. I'm a fairy.
