"I CAN FEEL YOU STARING."

Clementine Montgomery announced breaking the silence that had fallen over the unusual group, turning onto her stomach and resting on her forearms she faced the group of boys that seconds before were practically drooling over herself and Beverly Marsh but now they were doing anything and everything in their power to avoid eye contact,

"You weren't exactly discreet," Clementine continued with a giggle and a glance beside her at Beverly, who had also turned onto her stomach to face the group of boys, the two girls shared an amused look before returning their attention back.

"We weren't - I wasn't - look - Uhm." Eddie stuttered trying to deny the blonde girls accusations but stumbling over his words, obviously flustered from being caught

"Eds, you sound like Bill," Richie spoke up, trying to change the subject as he too was slightly embarrassed

"Hey!" Eddie and Bill snapped in unison, both annoyed by Richie's words

"Sh-sh-shut up, R-Richie."

"I'm just saying," Richie held up his arms in mock surrender, "You can't steal Bill's brand."

"Oh my God, Richie just shut your face would you," Eddie argued

Clementine laughed lightly at the silly argument the boys had got into, the group amused her endlessly.

"News flash, Ben." Richie suddenly spoke up again, impersonating a news presenter while digging into the boy's bag, pulling out a stack of paper, "School's out for summa!"

"Oh that?" Ben questioned, watching Richie flick through the paper, "That's not school stuff."

"Who sent you this?" Richie exclaimed, finding what looked to be a postcard in the midst of stuff

Ben snatched the item back from Richie, "No one!"

This didn't stop the loud-mouthed boy from snooping around in the other items in the bag, now pulling out a folder and dramatically opening it up.

"What's with the history project," he asked, turning the pages over with a frown

"Oh well," Ben started, a blush taking over his cheeks, "When I first moved here I didn't have anyone to hang out with so I started spending time in the library."

Clementine was intrigued, the girl wouldn't admit it but she loved history.

"Oh, I want to see." She announced, pushing herself to her feet and moving to sit beside Richie on the rock, leaning over him slightly to see the paper

"You went to the library?" Richie tried to continue, his voice was noticeably higher now from the nerves of the blonde girl sitting close beside him. His face was a dark red color, silently amusing the other boys who were looking at him with grins on their features.  "On purpose?"
