Victor sits in his recliner in his home, waiting for a text message back from Y/N. He is starting to become very impatient.
"Why isn't she responding..." he says in a low melancholy tone. He pulls his phone up once more and looks at the message he sent.
Delivered is read on the bottom of the text.
"Is she safe?" Victor wonders.

***
I had fallen asleep in Gavin's arms. I begin to wake up and when I open my eyes, the curtains are still open and I can feel Gavin's arms still wrapped around me.
I look over and check the time.
5:05 AM.

Oh wow, I slept for a long time. I slowly move Gavin's arms off me and get up to go to the bathroom. I grab my phone off the night stand and turn it back on. I usually never go this long without my phone on. Hopefully nobody needed to get a hold of me. I wait for it to turn on and wash my face. When it finally turns on, I see hardly any notifications. A couple of emails, a drunk text from Kiki and a text from...Victor? I open it immediately and can feel a sharp pain in my chest. He doesn't think I feel safe with him?

I dial his number, not even thinking about what time it is. I crack open the bathroom door to make sure Gavin is still asleep. He is passed out on the bed and looks so cute. I feel my cheeks getting red after thinking about how far we went tonight. I snap out of it as I hear the dial tone.

Victor hears his phone going off. I takes off his reading glass and puts down the book he was reading. Since he was restless, he decided to read. "Who is calling me at this hour?" As he picks up his phone, he eyes grow large. "Y/N?" He pushes the answer button and lets out, "Y/N...are you okay?"

I jump from hearing the tone of Victor's voice. It scared me. Now that I realize what time it is, I shouldn't of called him. He's always so busy. I know he needs his sleep.

"Victor, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to wake you."

"You didn't actually. I was catching up on some reading since I couldn't sleep. What about you? Is everything okay?"

"Yes, everything is okay..." I don't know what to say. I can hear the pain in his voice. "I saw your message..."
A silent pause.

A deep breath is let out on the other side of the phone.
"Yeah...sorry about that. I shouldn't of said something like that to you. Especially since you were out on a date."

I feel so bad. I can't believe I hurt him that bad.

I take a huge breath in, "I feel safe with you...I always have. You've saved me countless times when I'm not paying attention. I didn't mean to hurt you with my cruel words. I know that you will always try your best to keep me safe, and because of that, I will always feel safe around you..."

Another long silence.

"Y/N, where are you right now?"
I don't want to answer. I don't want to hurt him again so soon. I stay silent until he says, "You're at his house aren't you?"

"Y-yes." I'm embarrassed. I am here at Gavin's, who I deeply care about, talking to Victor, who I also care deeply about.

"Can I come pick you up? I'd like to take you somewhere." He says softly.

What do I say? Do I just leave Gavin alone?
As I am about to answer, I hear the door creak open.

"Y/N, who are you talking to this early?" I turn around and see Gavin in the door way rubbing his eyes. "Don't tell me it's Victor."
On the other line, "Stay put Y/N. I am coming to pick you up right now. I have your location."
Victor hangs up the phone.

Gavin is staring into my eyes and I am speechless.

"Did you tell him to come pick you up?"
"N-no Gavin. He said he wanted to take me somewhere and that he was on his way. I-I didn't ask him to come pick me up."
Gavin is looking at me intensely.

"You better get dressed if he's on his way over here."
Gavin turns out the door as I stand there in silence.

All I hear is the slamming of the front door and Gavin's motorcycle starting and driving off.
