"MY BABY!" Melissa cried, taking thousands of pictures of Kenzie dressed for her graduation outside of the Ziegler's home. Kenzie's brown hair was curled to reach just around her shoulders, and she was wearing a fitted white dress with a hemmed collar. Tonight was the night. She was finally graduating high school, ready for a summer of chilling with her friends before college would drive them away from her.
"Mom stop, I'm going to cry too!" Kenzie smiled, carefully separating her eyelashes and making sure her makeup was just right. "Nads is picking me up since we have to be there early. I'll see you in a few," Kenzie kissed Melissa on the cheek, grabbing her phone from the steps where she left it.
"Oh my god, so freaking gorgeous Kenz!" Nadia yelled as she pulled her white jeep into Kenzie's driveway.
"You look perfect as always Nads," Kenzie said hugging her, as she got into the passenger's seat. Nadia really did look perfect. Her winged eyeliner was just right, her hair was beautifully curled, and she looked as happy as ever.
"Lauren and John left ten minutes ago, how did she get ready so fast?" Kenzie asked laughing about Lauren. Lauren usually took a good 45 minutes just to wake up for the normal school day.
"I honestly have no idea," Nadia said. "But Em and Hayden are probably going to leave in like five minutes so let's try to beat them,"
"HI!" Kenzie shrieked, finding Lauren and Emily at the school auditorium.
"I can't believe in 3 hours, this is all going to be over," Lauren sighed, pulling all the girls in for a hug.
"You look beautiful," Johnny smiled, staring at Kenzie from her head to her toes. She instantly blushed, biting her lip.
"You don't look so bad yourself Orlando," She smirked, kissing his cheek gently. He moved his hand to lightly grip her thigh, holding her up with his strength.
"Love you so much Kenzie," He said happily.
"I love you too," Kenzie responded, accepting his kiss.
"They just called us all to the auditorium, graduation starts in five minutes, lets go!" Hayden yelled, gathering Kenzie's classmates and guiding them towards the auditorium. Kenzie's mind was racing. She was so nervous to give her speech, what if people were still mad about what happened? It was risky mentioning her past after she spent months trying to cover it up, so should she stick to the backup speech? Or was she going to leave with a powerful message that might end in tears? She still didn't know.
