Chapter 2

Jays pov:
Yesterday I just left karman for the knee school I'm going to. It feels different without her. We've been friends for so long...I don't wanna leave her but I had to go. I was getting ready for my new school. As soon as the bus came I went on it and sat in a seat alone. I put my headphones it and start to listen to music until we stopped near another street. But for some reason I recognized it. I kept thinking of what it could be until I knew. I girl who looked very recognizable came on the bus. She had a boy cut. I looked at her and my eyes widened. "No...I couldn't be..." I said to myself. It was my ex-friend from grade 6?!?!? I was left in shock. She ended up looking at me but I looked away quickly. I could tell she was quite suspicious about me. She ended up sitting in a row behind me. I don't think she remembered who I was so I didn't bother. We soon came to the school. I went off and continued to walk. I look at the sign. "Sunny side" it said. I took a deep breath. "Well...here goes nothing" I walk and once I got in, there was no turning back now.

Karman's POV
Well jay left me yesterday,now I'm on my own... I have nothing to do.i had a math problem and it was rly hard but I got though it when I sat down at a stop where me and jay always sit a break it brought back to the joyful memories we had there... I was think how jay was doing in 7th grade well I hope she doesn't have to deal w/ her ex-friend being In the same class or even come face to face ... and hope that she doesn't get bullied too.. anyways I hope I get to see her after school today...

Jays pov:
I had to go to the principals office to get what home room I was in. "Rm 63" I said In my head. It wasn't that hard to find tbh, it was just down the hall. I went into the class to see no one there except my home room teacher. "Oh hello dear" she said turning to me. "And what is your name" she asked. "I-it's Jay" I replied stuttering. "Ah Jay. Well I a your teacher Mrs. Hoover. I will be your home room teacher." I smiled. "You May go take a seat now" she said. I went into a random seat and put my stuff there waiting for other student to arrive. 5 mins later other students came. My teacher looked at the time and it was time to start the class. "Alright everyone, hello I am your teacher Mrs.hoover and the seats you are sitting on are going to be your assigned seats from then on. Now I will give you your locker codes" she said. She started to call random names until some one ran in the class. Mrs. Hoover looked to see a girl. I didn't notice because I was secretly drawing in my sketch book. Once I look up my eyes widened. It couldn't be. "Are you serious right now?!?!" I said in my head. My ex-friend came In the class.
I was mad but tried not to show it.
The seat beside me was empty and my eyes widened again. "Plz say she's not gonna sit beside me" I said to myself. "And who may you be" the teacher asked. "Hi, I'm breanna! I was assigned for this class" my ex-friend responded. "Ah yes, you may go sit in the back beside jay over there, uh jay! Can you plz stand up" the teacher said looking at me. I was shocked. "NO!!!!" I said to myself. "Ugh, there's no way out of this" I said. I slowly stood up and stared at the teacher. "Um, right here Mrs.hoover" I said. Breanna looked at me, shocked that I was in the same home room as her. She rolled her eyes and sat beside me. "Well well we'll look who it is, the girl who became my ex-friend" she said. "Hey! It was your Faust in the first place you over grown lumberjack!" I said with anger. Lucky the teacher didn't hear but began to hand put out lock codes. She continued to call out names until she called out mine. "Jay" she said. I came up to her and grabbed the code along with the lock.

~time skip~
It was lunch time and everyone ran to the cafeteria. I wasn't really that hungry so I just sat outside. "Ugh...I really don't wanna be here" I said. "I hope the day goes by fast so I can go see karman quick after school" I said. I heard the bell rang and I quickly ran back. I saw my ex-friend looking at me but I didn't bother. I really hope the day ends soon" I said, I went in the classroom.

Karmans pov:
Welp it's almost the end of the day and I can't wait but I hope I don't see jays ex-friend bc I also don't like her . It was 2nd break and before the bell rang I got called to the principals office, so I walked down and I told the secretaries that I got called down so one of them told me to go in the vice principals office and I was there the hole time . I waited for like 15min that was more than half the break so finally he came in and said that I have been moved to a different class before  I was in mr.whites class now I'm in Mrs.morgan's class

Jays pov:
It was almost the end of class and I count wait because finally this was our last period! Right now was art class so I was very happy. Since it was the first day here we got to do some free art. I ended up drawing peacock from scull girls and of course like always ppl started to run up to me and say how good it was, then ppl started asking if I could draw for them and all that shit so I kinda got mad. The teacher noticed and he had to break the kids up from me. "Sit back down in your seat!" He said. I really liked this teacher I'm not gonna lie, he's a guy yes but I feel like I can trust him. I think he might be my favourite teacher so far. His name was mr. brown. He's a cool guy. Soon art ended and we had to put our unfinished drawings in bins. Time passed on and finally, just finally school ended! "Yes!" Isaid to myself. I was happy until the bus.... crap! I sat in my seat and everyone got on and of course breanna came on last but something bad happened. The bus driver assigned our seat when we were in school and I sat beside my ex-friend....
"Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit!!!!!!" I said. Breanna sat beside me. We didn't talk. It was her stop so she finally left. But before she did she looked at me and shoved a note 📝 at me. I was nervous and didn't want to open it but I was curious. She then left and I was the last on one the bus. Yes I'm the first and last on the bus. I was alone, like completely alone on the bus (well except this one girl but still!" I had no one to talk to except listen to music. It was soon my stop and I got off along with the other girl. And thanked the bus drainer and walked the rest of the way. "Now to walk to my old school" I said. I really wanted to say hi to karman. I had to wait though cause my school ended earlier then there's so I waited.

Karman pov:
So it's our second last period and we have music and for last period we have gym so music just ended and I'm at gym class we have to do basketball  there is 3 min till the bell rings

Jays pov:
I looked at the time. "3:07" it said. 3 most mins until the bell rang. I waited until the bell finally rang. I smiled. I saw other kids run out and I waited to see karman.

Karman's pov:
So the bell rang,I put in my coat grabbed by bag and ran out.....then.....I saw jay so I ran to them and hugged them

Jays pov:
Karman ran up to me and hugged me almost pushing to to the ground but I managed to keep my balance. "Ha ha, hey karman! How's it going!" I said.

Karman's POV :
"Hi! I'm ok , you?" Oh and you wanna walk home together?

Jays pov:
I was happy when she asked if I wanted to walk with her. "Yeah! Of course!" We started to walk but I forgot about the note in my pocket. I pulled it out and opened. Shocked of what I read. I think karman saw my expression and was now concerned.

Karman's POV:
"Hey who gave you that note?"
So I am walking with jay and she pulls out a note...?

Jays pov:
I looked at her new t eating to answer. "I-...uh...uhhhhhhhhh it's just a report card! Hehe"
She looked at me weirdly. "But its only the first day of school how could you already get a report card?" She asked. Crap! "Uhhh its a letter from....someone" I said

Karman POV:
"Is it from Breanna" I asked

Jays pov:
I looked at her, shocked.
"...maybe" I said looking at her then looking away.

Karman's POV
"What does it say?"

Jay: it says...stuff..

Karman: "Ok,so how was school?"

Jay: it was ok

Karman:Soooooooooo......

Jay: soooo......hows your school going?

Karman:it's fine I guess nothing new....no new ppl yet...

Jay: oh...well hey, at least you have me right?

Karman: yes...
