"I swear I thought he was the right one. I can't believe Jemarl cheated on me like that and with my Best friend too. UGH, WHAT A JERK." Cassandra said loud on the phone . Her mother was cleaning the kitchen, she heard Cassandra's irritation and stopped. She walked to Cassandra's room and sat on the bed.

" Do you pay for anything in this house?"

"NO" she responded

"Do you have any money?"

" Not at the moment"

"Then why are you screaming?"

Cassandra hangs up the phone and cries a little. " Boys are stupid aren't they?" Cassandra said in a soft tone. "That is until you find the right one." Her mother Lola said realizing the situation."How would you know what it felt like to be treated wrong, from what I've heard, you and dad were inseparable". Cassandra said. Her mother sighed heavily and said "That's true. But before your father came into the picture, my life was a living hell. I had it pretty rough. You know Cassandra, I don't think you're old enough to date. I told you that already." Cassandra ignored her. "You know when I was your age, I wish I had listen to my father about his warnings. If I had I would of. Lola , stopped and looked at Cassandra.

"Your not ready for that story." She said in result.

"No mom tell me now, I might not understand now, but I will later in life? Tell me please!!!" she begged.

"Fine, fine, fine". "You are mature enough to hear about it now, so fine." I said to her.

Let's see, I remember it was the beginning of August. I was 17 years old, My hair was long back , it was beautiful and my eyes shined almost as bright as the sun. I was attending a new high school, Blue Valley High school. On my first day, I met this guy named Richard. Who I often called Rich. He was audacious, potent, yet funny and of course he just had to be gay. It's sad to say that I found out the hard way. Richard and I became best friends over time and I learned a lot from him. One night in mid December, I went to a party without my parents noticing.

"Hey Lola, I thought you weren't coming?" He said looking trendy.
"Oh dummy up Richy, you know I can't pass a party opportunity like this one."
I walked in with black and yellow jeans and some ancient shoes. My blouse was top of the market so I didn't care.

" Wow there's a lot of people here, are you sure your parents are okay with this Rich?"I asked him nervously.
"Oh yeah about that, they said I couldn't have the party, so I drugged them. He said casually as he walks around with me. " They yelled at me and made me feel like a little piece of cake, when we all know I'm the soon to be king of the world." He laughed.

"Hang in their tiger, I doubt Obama would step down for a kid whose GPA is below 2.8 and has been to jail multiple times. He is the President of the US, so imagine how the rest of the world would feel." I said as I saw him looking woozy.

"FYI, I have not been to jail, I have visited a couple of times." He said with a smile on his face.
"Yeah that explains why you were in handcuffs." I said back.

Not long after my arrival, a group of jocks came and crashed the party by putting alcohol in the drinks. Rich and I got so drunk, after 3 hours of partying we couldn't remember our names anymore. I was half-witted. The next morning I ended up in his bed. I was so drunk, I did something I greatly regretted.

Rich woke up and cried. " I can't believe it, of all people why Lola? no offense intended."

He groaned. " Offense taken, what the world do you mean, of all people why me?

How could you say that? Sure it wasn't special because you're not even interested in women, and I'm no different from everyone else."I said very confident.
