An Unsettling Feeling

Alex's eyes flutter open and she sits up thinking about the dream she just had..

Alex (thinking): That dream again.. I've been having that dream since I started high school.. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because of the stress of schoolwork.. Maybe it's because of how close I am to becoming an exorcist.. Either way.. It's unsettling to say the least.. But I can't focus on it now.. I need to get ready for my first day of Sophomore year..

*gets up from bed and yawns*

*phone rings*

Alex: Hmm? *checks phone* Oh, Erica. *on the phone* Hey Eri, are you here already?

Erica (on the phone): Yes! Omg! Hurry up slow poke! Aren't you one of the fastest werewolves on Earth!? How are you so slow!?

Alex: *smirk* Is that a challenge?

Erica: Whatever you cannot be that fast

*hangs up and 5 seconds later Alex appears next to Erica. This startles Erica*

Erica: JESUS CHRIST ALEX WHAT THE FUCK!?!

Alex: Don't ever call me slow again, Blondie. Now drive.

Erica: Okay okay, Rude Girl. *she starts the car and starts down the road* So.. Did you have that dream again?

Alex: I don't wanna talk about it.. Right now.. Focus on driving..

Erica: ... So... You excited to meet all the cute guys and gals??!

Alex: *chuckles* Sure. All of the guys will be total dicks and all the girls will be straight

Erica: Actually, I heard from undisclosed sources, that these girls and guys are from more accepting and diverse environments.. So we might get lucky!

Alex: Uh huh. Sure. You said that last year and look where that went.

Erica: Ugh can't you be a little optimistic? What's with you today? Is that freaking dream really getting to you that much?

Alex: Look how bout you just shut up and keep driving? I don't want to hear another damn word asking about it okay?

*they both sat in silence.. Then Alex finally spoke*

Alex: Look I'm just a little.. Concerned about it.. It's unsettling to me.. I think it's trying to warn me about something.. But I don't know what.. And I just.. I don't want to talk in too much detail about it right now.. I just want to get through this first day. Okay?

*There was another long silence between the two*

Erica: Okay. Well we're here. I hope you brought your schedule.

*Alex pulls out her schedule and reads it while Erica finds a place to park in the school's busy parking lot*

PS: Some of the story is inspired by some things I have watched like anime or tv shows or movies so yea! - Erza
