When Lyla began college, she told herself that she would not let a man distract her from getting her degree in music education. Lyla could not be more passionate about anything. Music is her thing.

College was becoming a huge struggle and Lyla was beginning to get overwhelmed...and that's when Seth began to take advantage of her.

Seth is Lyla's boyfriend. They were close friends until he saw her vulnerable side and started to do things his was.

Lyla was so stressed out she thought having a boyfriend to comfort her was the solution...

*~*~*

Another stressful day had gone by. Lyla went to go find comfort in Seth. Seth knew how to help her when she was stressed and becoming overwhelmed...unless his mind was clouded like Lyla's.

To sethypoo
Hey baby, can I see you? I really could use a hug. :(

From sethypoo
Sure. Come to my dorm.

"Seth never uses periods like that. I hope he's okay..." Lyla thought to herself as she collected her belongings and began the walk to Krupke hall, Seth's dorm.

Lyla knocks on the door, Seth answers it abruptly. Seth did that annoying head nod that boys do to motion someone to come in. Lyla jumped up onto his bed and waited for him to join her.

"I don't want you here long. I have shit to do and you being here won't help." Seth said directly to Lyla's face.

"Excuse me??" Lyla questioned. He rarely spoke to her like this, but it was becoming more frequent and Lyla was about to lose her cool.

"I. Don't. Want. You. Here. Long." Seth demanded. As if she wasn't having a bad enough day already.

"Fine. You should've told me before I walked the 20 minutes over here to see you. I'll just leave." Lyla said as she hopped off the bed and grabbed her backpack.

"You know what... I'm done with you. I'm done with your attitude and your sass and you always having a damn issue. We're done Lyla. I can't deal with it anymore. It's always about you. Lyla, Lyla, Lyla, all the fucking time. Get out of here. Don't come back. I can't take it anymore. I need space." Seth boomed.

Lyla looked at him with tears in her eyes. "You deserve to rot in hell, Seth. I don't know why I ever confided in you. Don't ever contact me again you piece of shit."

"GET OUT OF MY ROOM" Seth yelled. Lyla ran out as fast as she could without dropping her stuff.

With tears streaming down her face, she walked to the Starbucks that was on the edge of campus. The Starbucks she knew Seth would never go to. She found a table in the corner and sat all her stuff down after she got her vanilla latte.

The tears never seemed to stop flowing. One salty tear after another. Lyla didn't think she could get over this. She had too much going on in school and in her life with no friends to help her get through this...she spent all her time with Seth. Who could she go to now?

Lyla kept her eyes locked on the door. She wanted to make sure Seth wouldn't walk in and try to talk to her. She did NOT want to get into a pissing match with him in public.

After about 15 minutes of staring at the door, a tall figure with curly hair walked in and looked directly at Lyla. She turned her head away as soon as she realized she was still staring. The handsome man shot her a quick soft smile which lit a fire in Lyla. She wanted to know who he was.

After he ordered his drink and they called his name "Harry" he came over to the table next to Lyla and gave her a small smile again. She tried to keep her eyes locked down at her computer, but this man was too intriguing.
