morning comes as a perfect dawn and earth is soon greeted by its glamorous tangerine glow. nothing is better than a sunny sunday, the weather that gives one a lazy sleep-in vibe. yet the egg-yolk sun somehow still decides to pour through the cracks between the linen curtain and awaits entrance into jimin's monolid eyes, as the sunlight draws rainbow diamonds that dance upon the concrete canvas.

with sight remaining in the hold of the night's glue, the anthropologist leisurely rubs his dreams away and gazes out at the horizon. a cold breeze welcomes him as he wakes up, seulgi clearly took all the blanket last night.

as vivid sun rays extend across the rosy sky, memories of yesterday come and go in waves. everything happened like a miracle to him, too fast to perceive, too good too be true.

the man senses an unusual warmth in his bed, as if there is a presence of someone else other than himself. he looks next to him, realizing he isn't wrong. in the wash of the new light, seulgi's face appears like an old photograph, so nostalgic, so aesthetic. jimin watches as the sunbeam brings her skin into focus, not yet aligned with the warmth of who she is, since the woman herself is still in the land of dreams.

this queen-sized bed never felt this cozy to him, but now in his own home, jimin knows he's not alone anymore. from now on, in morning there will be more joy that peeks through the windows of his eyes, more love awaiting a chance to jump into the air that he breaths, and more deep sweetness that resonates within the energy he exposes.

then he turns to the side, facing her with his gaze full of fondness. seulgi looks like an angel in her unaware state, and a goddess when she gets back her consciousness. and since there is nothing to do til the woman wakes up, jimin brings his body closer to hers and their hearts synchronize. he will hug her until she is awake and comes into the present with him, whatever happens afterwards is not important at this moment.

yet a bare blink right after their touch, seulgi's small giggle causes jimin to freeze at his spot.

"y-y-you're awake???" he stutters, his cheeks stained redder than the sunrise.

"morning, jimin." she grins at him brightly, and a second after she's already in his arms.

the young man, though shocked as he is, managed to receive her warmth with a tight embrace. "morning, dear." he whispers, basking his nose in the floral scent of seulgi's hair.

do they have any intention of getting up? absolutely not.

"shall we get out of bed and do something for sunday, dear?" jimin asks, his eyes still close in their snuggle.

"okay," the woman mumbles back, her body stays fixed in its favorite position.

"but cuddling all day also sounds like a perfect plan to me." then comes his lazy response.

"okay." seulgi smiles in return. then they continue their nuzzling saga, as if this was the first time they experienced peace after a long-life war.

"nope this is not how it works, let's get hyped up and hang out seul!!" jimin eventually breaks their embrace, slapping his face for a refreshment.

"okay!" the brunette looks at him all determined, his spirit draws its reflection on her eyes.

"but hugging you is the best way to charge myself tho." the anthropologist ruffles his hair hysterically. cluelessly, he has no idea what is wrong with him today.
