02: Speaking Heart to Heart

"Thanks, Jimin," you smiled. "And yes, to answer your question, I was pregnant with Mina at seventeen. I am a victim of the same thing your mother went through but I didn't let it stop me. I had Mina at a really young age. I was embarrassed at school and most of my friends called me a slut for being pregnant. The whole school knew. But I didn't want an abortion. I couldn't do that. Even though having a baby was going to probably turn my life upside down I tried to do as much as I could for her cause she's still my little girl and my sunshine."

"And that's how it should be," he smiled back. As the others were coming back he let go off your hand as you saw customers walking inside as well.

"Well, I have to go," you said standing up. "It was nice being able to meet someone like you, Jimin. I hope we can meet again some other time."

He nodded as you went back to work. Jimin stayed in his thoughts the whole time when the others were talking. He was thinking of ideas for the company project as he thought of you. It was true that he found you interesting. He knew it from the start but he wanted to know more about you. And he was willing to do so.

"Boss, I'm leaving," you announced, leaving everything in place. Already around five pm and you already wanted to get home.

He nodded, "Is everything okay? You've been down lately."

"No it's nothing," you sighed. "It's just a lot of work. Not here but at home. Being a mom isn't easy and Mina is growing more and more each day."

"I hope it gets better for you," he said. "If you need any help you can tell me."

"It's fine. Don't worry."

You walked out and took the bus back home. Since it always stopped at the bus stop, you had to walk back home. Not to say it was raining already so once you got home you were wet from the rain.

Before you went to see Mina you went to change clothes and dry up a bit so you didn't get her sick. Right after, you went over to Mina's room and found her there playing with your mom.

"Hey my little princess," you smiled, picking her up in the air and kissing her cheek. "Did you have fun with gramma?"

She nodded, smiling cutely.

"I'll go make dinner," your mom said. "You stay with her."

You nodded, sitting on the bed with Mina. She sat on your lap as she played with her baby bear toy.

"My little Angel," you chuckled.

She suddenly looked up and said something that shocked you, "Mommy! Where's daddy?"

"Baby, you'll know when you're older. I'll explain everything to you by then," you said and pecked her forehead. Right after dinner you helped Mina take a shower and dress her up. You took her to bed as she was slowly falling asleep. Your mom was also asleep in her room so you did the same.

"You're here early," Jungkook chuckled. "Eat something if you'd like."
