10: Daddy-Boyfriend, Mommy-Girlfriend

"Mina, my sweet little princess," Jimin smiled, sitting next to her. "I have some good news to share with you."

"Did mommy buy me pony!?" She widened her eyes which Jimin found adorable.

"Not that big of a news," he chuckled. "Something smaller but very big for me and your mom."

"Am I having a sibling?" She asked, confused, and Jimin shook his head cutely.

"Your mom and I are going out," he explained. "You probably won't understand it much but me and your mom are dating."

"Oh! We learned that today! Coach Kim got a ring and she said her husband gave it to her. Are they dating now? Will you give mommy a ring?"

"Oh no," he chuckled. "What she meant was that she was getting married. That's the last step in a relationship. This is the first."

"So you and mommy will kiss?!" She asked, confused. "Angie saw her mommy and daddy kissing."

"Well," Jimin said a bit awkwardly. How could he explain something like that to a child? "Well, if you are in a relationship you will have the chance to kiss your partner but that's something for you to learn later in the future. Now your mommy and I are dating and it's a normal thing."

"So, you're my new daddy?" She asked, confused once again.

Jimin gulped, "Well, you have a daddy but he's not really going to be able to see you."

"Why?" She asked. "Does he not love me?"

"It's not that he doesn't love you or anything. Every parent should love their kids but he-," Jimin sighed not knowing what to say. He complicated the conversation when it didn't have to be so complicated. "He's on a trip. Far from here. He can't come back."

"But isn't mommy cheating? Coach said it's not good."

"It's not that," he said, surprised at the little girl's knowledge. "We will explain it to you further when you grow up but right now just know that I will take the role of your daddy from now on. If you need anything I'll be here for you."

She smiled and hugged Jimin tight, "Daddy Jimin!"

You walked by the living room when you heard the conversation. Seeing your daughter happy and Jimin saying that he would be her dad from now on made you want to shed tears as your heart was beating so fast.

"Look!" Jimin said, looking your way. "Mommy is here!"

Mina turned to you as you walked to them. You sat Mina on your lap and poked her nose.

"Are you and Jimin getting along?"

She nodded and smiled, "He's daddy!"

You looked at Jimin with a smile as he just looked at you with Mina.

"Mommy do you love daddy?" She asked. She looked at Jimin signaling that she was talking about him.

"Daddy Jimin?" You asked. "Of course, baby. I love him. Just as much as I love you."

She clapped her hands cutely once you said that and said, "I have a daddy now!"

Your teary eyes were about to shed their tears at that moment and Jimin noticed so he took Mina with him and sat her on his lap.

"Mina, how about you go play with your toys in your room? Or finish the project you were working on for school."

She nodded remembering the project and Jimin let her down as she ran to her room. You immediately turned to Jimin and hugged him tight, finally letting those tears fall as you said, "I love you. I absolutely love you. I never got to say it but now that I talked to Mina I realized that I do love you."

"I love you too, baby. Don't worry," he chuckled, softly passing his hand by your back. "Thank you for letting me be a father for Mina. I love her as if she was my own child."

You pulled back from the hug and pecked his lips, "Every time you talk you make me want to marry you and make you Mina's official father at the second. Stop doing this to me."

"Look on the bright side," he said. "Number one, it wouldn't be a bad idea and number two, you aren't a single mom anymore. You're a mommy-girlfriend."

"You're so cute. My daddy-boyfriend."

He smirked, "Daddy in what way?"

"In the non perverted way, Park Jimin," you chuckled. "Not to say the first time Mina called you daddy I choked thinking that you were daddy indeed."

"In the perverted way," he said and you rolled your eyes. "I'm just glad I could share my feelings with you. Glad I'm with a truthful, honest and beautiful woman that gives beautiful kids just like herself."

"Yeah I know. Mina is beautiful," your cocky ass flipped your hair back and he just smiled cutely with his smiling eyes.

"Imagine you, a beautiful goddess, and me, a handsome boyfriend having a baby together," he chuckled.

"Well," you sighed. "I hope our relationship lasts long enough for that. And I hope by that time I won't be scared to be able to give you a baby."

He held your hand and cupped your cheek, "When I say I love you I mean it. I love you. And I don't mind it if you want to have kids with me or not. If you don't want to then it's okay. For me Mina is enough if I can be her daddy."

"But I can't do that to you. If I get engaged then I trust you with my life. I trust you with my own daughter that isn't yours by blood. It means I will trust you enough for you to see me without clothes and at my worst state. I will trust you to have kids with you one day and for us to be a happy family. I can see how happy you are with Mina and I can't take that away from you because your happiness is my happiness."

He smiled and leaned in to kiss your lips softly. It was clear how much he loved you at that point. He showed it in every kiss and every little way he showed his affection. Once he pulled back he said, "If we make each other happy then there's no problem. No reason why we shouldn't be able to last. I don't care that you already have a child. It wasn't her fault for what happened to you and neither was it yours. You're strong and that's why I love you."
