Prologue - The Start of Something

Sora,Donald,and Goofy all sat in the Gummi Ship with boredom,annoyed with the figurative slump they found themselves in.

"Sora! We've been floating for hours!" Donald shouted in a short-tempered scream that was expected of him.

"Come on Donald,give me a break." Sora pleaded with a slight hint of exhaustion in his voice "It's not like I can just make worlds appear,we have to find them." Sora continued his plea with a simple reasoning.

"Gawrsh you guys,remember we just gotta let our hearts be our guiding keys!" Goofy chimed in trying to reassure his two comrades who turned to one another and exchanged glances.

"Goofy! That doesn't work for everything!" Donald shouted in frustration,slamming his feathered fists against his chair.

"Calm down Donald,maybe Goofy is on to something....again." Sora said trying to calm down his mallard friend.

Sora turned his chair back to face the controls of the ship,he then stood up and summoned his trusty Kingdom Key.

"Let my heart..." Sora said before pointing his keyblade forward as if locking a world's keyhole "...Be my guiding key!" Sora exclaimed,finishing the phrase as a beam of pure light shot from the tip of the blade and towards to endless galaxy around them and their ship.

A gateway broke open in the space in front of them,opening what appeared to be a door of sorts to some far-off world.

"Seems Goofy was right! Let's see where this opening takes us!" Sora exclaimed with excitement as he took a firm grip to the controls.

"WAIT! You have no idea where this goes?!" Donald questioned in an uproar,Sora looked over his shoulder at Donald and smiled.

"Nope. Not one bit!" Sora said with a tone that radiated reassurance before he slammed on the gas and shot the gummi ship straight through the newly opened gateway.

- Meanwhile -

Kairi and Lea stood in front of one another,both with their keyblades drawn and battle ready,the sunset lighting the seemingly endless forest around them.

"You're really stacking up Kairi! Keep it up!" Lea shouted before charging for another attack,Kairi expected this and sidestep away from his swing.

Once she found her footing,the redhead darted forward and swung at Lea who ducked to avoid the horizontal slash.

"Come here!" Lea let out with a cocky smirk.

"You should watch yourself!" Kairi let out before raising an open palm up to Lea,who gasped in shock before the burning embers of fire began to circle her fingers.

"Gotcha!" Kairi exclaimed as the fire shot out at Lea,knocking him backwards and onto the ground as his keyblade was flung to the side before disappearing.

"I-I gotta hand it to you..." Lea began to groan out as he stood up "..You know your way around a spell." Lea finished as he cracked his knuckles.

Kairi giggled softly as her keyblade disappeared in a flash of light "Thanks." she said grateful for Lea's compliment.

"I bet you'd fight a lot better if you changed into those clothes Master Yen Sid made for you." Kairi claimed confidently with a soft smile on her face.

This statement made Lea groan as he let out a "Geez Kairi" and stretched his arms.

"Come on,you've been wearing those robes for who knows how long,aren't you at least a little interested in wearing anything else?" Kairi asked as she tugged on the tall man's coat sleeve.
