It's been 4 months that Tom and I have been dating and it's been amazing! We have done so much together and he is the best, greatest, most honest and loyal man I've ever met.
Today we're going to see my parents for Christmas eve and then on Christmas day we're heading to his parents for the day.
As Tom takes our last bag to put in the car I sneakishly grab the gift I got him for Christmas and put it in my handbag.

"Are you ready to go love?" he asks me, winking at me. I still get butterflies when he flirts with me. "Yes I'm ready to go..." I say. Tom turns around to head out, but I grab his arm gently. "Tom. Thank you for... Everything." I say giving him a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. He looks at me shocked, but hugs me back and places a soft kiss on my forehead. "It's a pleasure love. Now let's go to your parents." he says taking ny hand and leading me out the door. "I'm nervous, what if your parents don't like me very much, what if they think I'm not the right guy for you. I mean you're so beautiful and you have the greatest personality and you're so amazing person. What if they think you should date a doctor or a lawyer and now you have an actor as a boyfriend. " Tom starts blabbing, you know that his hesitating to go because when he's nervous he usually starts to talk non stop and overthink everything." Tommy they'll love you, I mean look at you. You are so kind and you have a big heart. You love taking care of people and you are smart I mean you are way smarter than me in mathematical situations or technological stuff. You took me in when I had a horrible situation at my own place. You've never placed me in an awkward or uncomfortable situation when I came living with you. No job can define how amazing you are. If you were a homeless man I'd still choose you over any other man. You are the most honorable man I've ever met. " I say to him, caressing his soft cheek."Wow that was a great motivational speech thanks love, okay now I'm ready to go." he grabs my hand and we get into the car. He looks at me with a smile on his face and winks at me. I smile back at him and connect my phone with the car playing our favourite song. (i suggest you play your favorite love song while reading further 😊) he looks at me with excitement written all over his face. We dance along with our song singing to each other, laughing at each other. The next moment Tom brings the car to a stop, he places his one hand on my cheek and the other on my hand. "How did I get so lucky?" he says while moving in for a kiss. His soft lips tasted like strawberries. Every kiss felt like our first kiss. "You are so cheesy Mr Holland. But I do like it." I say, he laughs and we drive further. _______________
We stop at my parents house after a long ride. "Okay are you ready Tommy?" I ask, making sure he's not nervous. "Yes, I am." we get out of the car and my father comes out hugging me. "Oh it's been so long. I've missed you honey." he says placing a kiss on my forehead. " I know! Dad this is Tom, my boyfriend I've told you guys about." Tom stands closer putting his hand out to greet my father. "Hi sir, it's a pleasure to meet you." my father looks him in the eyes with no facial expression, the tension rises as my father looks at Tom with a digusted look on his face. "Ahhh just messing with you, hi Tom I'm Y/D/N." he laughs as Tom sighs of relieve. I go in as my father and Tom grab our luggage. I get greeted by my mom and siblings. As Tom came in I introduce him to the rest of the family. We put our bags in my old bedroom that's now seen as the spareroom." Wow, your father nearly gave me a heart attack!" Tom says laughing a bit. "Yeah i knew he was going to make a joke with you, his a fun guy." we walk back to the dinning room seeing all the food and family sitting at the table chatting. My mother and father starts talking to Tom while I catch up with my siblings. After a while Tom joins me and we start chatting with my siblings and go and play some games outside. We play for some time untill the food was ready and my mother calls us. She grabs me by the arm and take me to one side. " y/n, I'm so grateful you made it. We missed you so much. And Tom, well Tom is an amazing man. I'm very glad you two met. I'm very happy for you and keep him, his an one of a kind." she sayd hugging me. I sit next to Tom while my father says grace and we start feasting on the food everyone prepared.
Dinner was amazing Tom and I were bombarded with questions of how we met and what's been going on with the movie and about my house. When my father asked about how it was going with the case. Tom immediately took my hand giving it a light squeeze, knowing that it's a sensitive subject for me. But I was strong enough to answer and tell him that they're still looking for the person who did it.
"okay so we all know that Tom and Y/N are only here for today as tomorrow they're going to Tom's family. So we are going to open some presents today. Let's all move to the living room." my mother says while putting her hands on Tom's and my shoulder. We all sit in the living room. Some of the small kids sit on the floor while Tom and I go and sit on the single chair. Me sitting on his lap." Tom would you do the honour of handing out everyone's gifts, as you are new to the family. Or almost new to the family?" my father says while winking at me. "dad!" i say while Tom stands up "yes sir of course I'll do it." i help him hand out all the gifts and seeing everyone enjoying their gifts. I quickly run to our room and grab the few gifts we brought. " well we didn't bring big or any fancy stuff, but just know that it comes straight from both mine and Tom's hearts. " i say while handing out everyone their gifts. "Wow Y/N and Tom it was no need to buy us gifts" my mother says kissing both of us on the cheek.
The rest of the day we celebrated Jesus's birthday by watching my little cousins doing the play of baby Jesus. It was already 18:00 and I was helping my mother making some sweet tea and coffee for all our guests whike Tom and my father cleaned up outside. I saw them standing outside talking and my father placing his arm around Tom's shoulders. He looks at him telling him something then Tom smiles and they walk into the kitchen. "so we cleaned everything outside, now my love we can just relax and watch some Christmas movies with these yo love birds and the rest of the family." my father says placing a kiss on my mother's cheek. " yes dear we're just making some sweet tea and coffe for our geusts. Tom would you like some sweet tea? " she asks." I'm already on it mom. " i say giving Tom his cup and a kiss on his cheek. We walk to the living room and i grab a blanket for us to lay underneath.
We watched the grinch, home alone and A whitr Christmas. As i slowly look at Tom, smiling and placing my head on his chest and fall asleep. He softly whispers"Y/N are you sleeping? " i just groan a bit and hug him tight, he giggles and holds me close. After a few movies i hear my parents saying goodnight and both of them kissing my forehead. Tom picks me up and places me on my bed. I wake up fully" noo. Come lay here please. " i say grabbing his arm." okay" as we fell asleep in each others arms.
