Truly

Chapter 1

"Danny! Wake up!" My brother Ashton rapidly shakes me awake with a goofy grin on his face.

"Go away" I groan and put my pillow over my head. Just like that he takes it and throws it on the floor and takes off my blankets too.

"Fine im up" I mumble and get my bathrobe on since its in the middle of November.

"Luke is coming over in a half hour so make your self look at least decent." As he gestures towards my messed up hair and tired eyes.

"Shut up and get out so I can get ready" I say and he chuckles and leaves the room.

I quickly jump in the shower and after that get dressed and realize I only have 15 minutes until luke gets here. I apply my make up which is a dark layer of mascara and some eye liner and brush out my long brown hair until there isn't a trace of snarles. I look in the mirror and feel satisfied with how I look and head down stairs.

As soon as I plop down on the couch Luke walks right through the front door. He doesn't even knock anymore since he practically lives here.

"Danny!" Luke shouted and ran towards me like he hasn't seen me in ages. He picked me up and spins me around which made me giggle. When he stopped we were staring into eachothers eyes which seemed like forever until Ashton cleared his throat and ruined the moment. Luke turned a dark shade of red and awkwardly laughed.

He gently placed me on the couch and went to Ashton and they started laughing and joking around like normal.

I was about to walk over to them when Ash's phone started to ring he picked it up and started talking to his girlfriend Diana and told her he would be over in a few minutes.

"Hey guys I'm gonna head out I'm staying at Diana's tonight. See you tomorrow. " Then he walked out the door leaving me and Luke on our own.

"Lets do something I'm bored just sitting here." I said with a smirk on my face.

"Wanna go to the mall?" he suggests

"Sounds good to me." I said

We walk to his black car and head off to the mall. We were listening to the radio while making cheesy comments about some of the songs that were playing when shake it off came on by Taylor Swift. He turned up the volume and we started singing along.

"The hatters gonna hate hate hate hate hate baby I'm just gonna shake shake shake shake shake it off shake it off!" We both sang in sync.

When we arrived at the mall we were walking toward the door when our hands brushed agsinst eachother. I felt my face getting hot and Luke was turning slightly pink. I giggled and he did too.

"Can I hold your hand?" he asked me with a shy tone.

"Of course you can Mr. Hemmings." I said and instantly his fingers intertwined with mine.

Ive always had a crush on Luke since I was 10 years old and here we are at the age of 18 and I haven't told anyone about it.

After shopping for a while Luke and I decided to go to the food court to get something to eat since we were both starving.

We went to burger king and ate our lunch having small conversations in between bites. When we both finished he was looking into my green eyes with his blue ones. After a few minutes our faces were getting closer and closer to eachother.

Before I knew it Luke grabbed my face and crashed his lips on mine. It felt so good and it felt like nothing ive ever felt before. I mean sure ive had boyfriends and kissed boys before but it was nothing compared to this. His tounge went across my bottom lip begging for entrance. I parted my lips slightly and his tounge was fighting for dominance with mine and he obviously won. Our lips moved in sync and we finally parted after a few to get some air.

"Danny?" he says

"Ive always liked you I have for about 6 years now. I didn't tell you because I didn't think you felt the same way." he sighs

"Luke I really like you too. I have liked you since we were ten and I never told you because I was to scared to be rejected." I huff

"In that case Danielle will you do me th honor of allowing me to take you on a date?" he asks

"Mr. Hemmings I would be delighted to attend." I chuckled

The car ride home was short and sweet since Luke was telling me how pretty he thought I was. When we arrived at my house and got through the door he started pushing me up against the wall and started kissing my lips and it was more intense then it was in the mall caffeteria.
