A week went by pretty slow for Saint. He had to smack himself mentally so he could keep his mind from wandering.
P' Jane and P' Nam pretty much helped him pulling out from his own thought by shoving more and more jobs to his face non-stop. Well, those endless jobs succeeded in distracting him, though.
At least, he could stop thinking about him when he worked.
"You're like a walking corpse," Nam commented when Saint had just done with a magazine photoshoot and they were on the way to the next schedule, hustling through Bangkok's traffic jam.
"Wow, big news. Surprise, surprise!" Saint retorted in mockery. He had been a walking corpse for 7 years now, and Nam had just realized it? What a joke.
P' Nam flicked his fingers on Saint's forehead. "Hey, that's my asset you're ruining!" Saint glared at her and was replied by Nam's rolling eyes.
She chuckled, "I'll just conceal with my high-end concealer, no worries," Nam said as she pulled out her makeup case. He took a cotton pad and a bottle of makeup remover. She was going to change Saint's makeup look for the next photoshoot.
He would get his makeup done on the set as well, but Bangkok's traffics was always crazy, they only got a little time to do the styling when they arrived, so better polished those magnificent face's features on the vehicle since it was more practical.
Saint closed his lids, ready to fall asleep while having his makeup done, like usual. But Nam was yet to shut her mouth, "You seem... distracted for almost a whole week now."
Saint heaved a deep sigh. He was not planning to be obvious about it, but nothing went unnoticed under Nam's and Jane's noses. They had sharper guts than the reporters. Saint almost could not hide anything from them because sooner, they would know without having Saint telling them.
"You don't have to tell me, you know... Cos I'll know in the end," Nam smirked slyly and tapped the cotton pad a little rougher made Saint grimaced. "Oops, sorry," She apologized immediately, knowing that Saint carried the whole industry on his face. His face was the most valuable asset. Nam had to be careful or else she's going to be sued.
Saint chose to ignore his assistant. He had been closing his eyes for a good 5 minutes now, usually, he had no difficulties in falling asleep, but lately, he found it hard to sleep. He only had 3-4 hours to cram sleeping between his schedules every day, now he could only sleep for 2 hours utmost.
As Nam said, he was a walking corpse. Thanks to Nam's high-end concealer who was even able to cover Saint's dark soul, it concealed his dark circles perfectly. But he was already sleep-deprived and Saint did not need any more distraction to keep him from sleeping right now.
He needed to pull himself together, really. What was wrong with him? He realized he had been a mess since the audition for the new series. The time when he met a newcomer in the acting industry, Mean.
Saint's mind kept wondering about him. He was curious about Mean. He even made a new account to stalk Mean's social media. What a creep. Saint thought for himself.
He fluttered his lids opened and went to check on Mean's social media immediately.
Saint groaned as soon as he opened his account. No update again! What kind of public figure was he? Having social media without even bothering to share his daily activities? Saint unconsciously pouted his lips and shoved his phone back to his jeans pocket.
He forced himself to sleep as he squeezed his eyes shut. The least he needed right now was losing sleep because of a certain someone.
