Behind the walls ●ABANDONED●

Chapter 3

One day this world will change around me and I would have no idea, or I would but couldn't interact with it. I took a deep breath and turned my head to my phone. I was messaging Chloe to tell her that I was coming round so she wouldn't be scared out of her mind when I walked in.
*PING*
That was fast. I looked down at my phone and saw it was from John.
J: Where are you?
J: The boys said you left after I went to the toilet
I rolled my eyes at his fakeness
J:Maya please. I am worried
M: you left me
J: what do you mean please come home. I am at home waiting for you now please.
Good thing I didn't go home
M: No
I turned off my phone. *PING* * PING* *PING* My phone finally calmed down then... *RING RING RING* I sighed then declined the call seeing it was John.

I could go back home. Not now. Not ever. Not for anyone. Once John came to live with me all the good memories were replace with bad. Memories that no matter how hard I pushed them down they would rise making me cry. A tear came out of my eye. All I know wanted was for this journey to be over.

Tobias point of view

I walked back into my empty home. I threw myself on the sofa and felt the air come all out of the cushion. My butt was met with an angry spring and I grunted. Getting up and walking to the kitchen my feet dragged along the floor as I reached the fridge and grabbed a beer.

As I walked back to the sofa I ran my fingers along a picture of her. I turned to look at them all when I found one that should be long gone. I snarled as the memories came flooding back to me.
"Tanya hey!" I yelled after her while running trying to catch up. She covered her face with a bit of her hair. The hall was full of people grabbing things from their lockers or just chatting.
"Uh... Hey Tobias." She stuttered. My small heart was thinking it was being love sick.
"I wanted to ask you something." I was so hopeful.
"Ughhhh... Tobias not now. Can you not just leave me alone."
"But... b b but. Tanya." My heart began to break "Tanya wait." She walked on faster, "Tanya, I like you."

She stopped and everyone turned to look at me. I felt so uncomfortable. I looked down at the floor.
"Tobias." She said it so sincerely all hope was restored. I looked up at her with a small smile in my face.
"I will never date. I don't know who would. You must be insane by thinking I would like you back!" Her words stared of dripping with sarcasm then snapped to fury.

I looked down at the ground and ran. Everyone laughed at me. They pointed at me. Her icy blue eyes I will now forever hate. Her waves in her brown hair deserved to be gone.
