He walked to the edge of the room then walked back over to me. His foot steps echoed around the empty room bouncing off the walls and into my ears. I stared at his hands as I saw something shine off the dim light. He then walked a lot faster to me practically running. Meanwhile, my mind went off thinking if I walked that fast I would definitely fall over.
Then I felt something sharp press against my throat, it was cold and teasing to dig into my skin. My breath was caught in my throat as he teased along my neck. Trailing the point up to my jaw and tracing my jaw line. I shut my eyes prepared for a sharp pain to pierce through my skin. A shiver ran through my body as he stopped the knife and pulled it away from my face.
"So Maya." He paused expecting a response of any form. I squeezed my eyes tighter together.
"MAYA." I was forced to meet his eyes as he placed the knife under my chin and pulled up my head. I was scared that if I didn't open my eyes this dim light and dark room would be the last I would see.I opened my eyes meeting his deadly stare. He smiled as he saw me looking at him back. His smile sent a shiver down my spine.
"Now, do you want to know why I know so much about you." I shook my head not wanting to know. The worst I could think of was probably no where near as bad as what he probably did.
"Are you sure." He taunted with his words. I nodded my head shutting my eyes. Once I did so I realised it was the wrong choice as I felt a sharp pain go into my leg.
"Look at me." I weakly opened my eyes at his demand. I felt immense pain coming from my leg but didn't dare look.I met his eyes once again. As I looked into his eyes I swear I saw a flash a sympathy. As quickly as I saw it he covered it up with a cold look. I was now confused out of my mind. It must have been playing tricks on me because no kidnapper sympathized with there 'preys' pain especially when the kidnapper inflicted it himself.
*knock knock* . The sound brought me out of my thoughts and Tobias didn't seem happy. Who ever was at the door Tobias didn't want to see *bang bang bang* the door was being pounded. That person definitely wanted to see Tobias. He flashed me with a sickening smile before leaving and locking the door behind him.
Tobias' point of view
*knock knock* I heard come from the front door. I immediately knew it was Max. Only he knocked twice like a true psychopath. I groaned inwardly trying to not let Maya see my annoyance in something so simple. *bang bang bang.* was then heard. I only left in fear of him breaking my door down. I flashed Maya a smile that she didn't seem to like.
I left the room locking it behind me. I walked over to the front door swinging it open catching Max of guard. I pulled him in by the collar and slammed him against the wall.
"Woooo calm down there, I haven't seen you like this since..." he paused quickly catching on.
"You didn't. TELL ME YOU DIDN'T." He shouted at me. I didn't say anything but loosened my grip. He ran out. Bolted to the door. He gripped his hand around the door handle attempting to open it. He broke down the door from anger.
"MY DOOR." I shouted at him. He didn't care but instead proceeded to walk through the broken door.Max's point of view
I shook the door handle but it was locked. The last time this door was locked was when-. Anger coursed through my body. I kicked the door causing wood splinters and pieces to fly around me.
"MY DOOR." he shouted at me. His door. He kidnapped another girl after promising not to ever again, and he was worried about his door.I walked through the hole in the 'door' praying that he didn't. I flicked the light on and saw her sitting with her head hung low. I stopped in my tracks. I see she is bound a chair tied down with her arms on the rest and her feet on the legs. I walked over to her and she winced. I couldn't believe Tobias did this.
"What the f**k were you thinking." I wiped around to face him.
"What do you mean." He asked as if nothing had just happened
"What do you mean." I mimicked his words. "You have this poor girl tied to a chair scared for her life."
"If she listened then she wouldn't be bleeding." He mumbled to him self but I heard.
"You stabbed her." He just shrugged.
I practically ran over to her to try and help her. I touched the ropes then I was knocked off my feet. Tobias was standing over me looking down at me like I was below him. He shook his head as his eyes became void of any emotions. A flash of fear emerges in my eyes before I could cover it up. He smiled to him self. He was too far. I couldn't get him back. No matter how hard I tried, all i could do now is run. Run. Run. Run far away. I had to leave the poor girl alone with this monster I called my friend.
I brought my knee where the sun don't shine with all my force. He doubled over and I quickly made my escape. He quickly recovered and started for me. I ran so fast that I thought my feet weren't even touching the ground. I bolted to the front door maneuvering my body past all the counters and objects. I practically broke the hinges off the door as I swung it open.
