AUTHOUR P.O.V
Three weeks went by quickly, and Aeri eventually began to enjoy working out, and eating healthy. It even became a habit. However, there was one week left before school started and before Jennie left for New Zealand again.
Jennie had taken her shopping the day before and had practically brought her a new wardrobe. But most of things were stuff Aeri wouldn't normally wear, but whenever Aeri tried to bring this up to her cousin, she just said, "Oh hush you. Just let me buy things for you. I've always wanted to go shopping with a sister."
It was also at that time that Aeri realised how much weight she lost, as she went from a size 12 to a size 8. For the first time she felt beautiful. All that hard core working out and extreme dieting payed off.
However, this meant that she now had to buy a new uniform for school, as her old one was way too big for her now. This time Aeri insisted on buying, and while Jennie was upset, she quickly got over it as she got to pick out the things for her which included; Skirt, shirts, shoes, tie.

The skirt Jennie picked was a bit on the short side, as it rested mid-thigh, but Aeri was so tired that she just wanted to buy and leave. Jennie also brought her makeup, and for Aeri, who had never touched make-up before, it was very exciting, however she had no idea what half of the stuff did. At the end of the day, they brought jewellery and both got their hair and nails done, before settling down at a nearby restaurant.
AERI P.O.V
It's the day of school, and my heart was in my stomach. Jennie was leaving this morning so I had to wake up early for that. I also ended up working out because I didn't know how else to calm my nerves.
What if people think I'm trying to hard?
What if they don't recognise me?
Will I be bullied because of this?
I stood in the mirror staring at myself.
Is this really me?
I look so different!
I look so... so... good!
I didn't want to sound boastful but I did look and feel good. My uniform was a lot more fitted, and it hinted at my now small waist. The silver jewellery was a good addition to it as well. My freshly shaved legs were hidden by long stockings that reached my knees, a couple inches of thigh showing between the socks and skirt. My brand new shoes were designer and looked expensive. Nails were done and looked long and elegant, as well as my hair, as Jennie had taught me how to curl my hair. I looked hot! I had even experimented with my makeup. For the past week I have been trying different looks with makeup, and I'd say I've gotten pretty good with it. It was a simple look but it heighted my features, like my pointy nose, or my soft jawline, even my high cheekbones. Smiling I grabbed my things and headed out the house, my mum and dad had already left for work.
It was only half seven, so I decided to walk to Lisa's house.
"Wow! Who are you!?" Lisa gasped, her jaw dropping. "Oh my god, Aeri, you look so good. Heejin is going to flip when she sees you!" I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the sound of Heejin's name.
"Come on, we're early so let's stop by a café." Lisa smiled, linking her arms with mine.
The walk to the café was nice as we spent it talking about Lisa's holiday. However, something happened that blew my mind.
"Excuse me." Someone said from behind us, as we made our way towards the café door. Turning around I saw a guy shyly smiling. I could tell he was around my age because he was wearing my school's uniform.
"Sorry to bother you, but can I get your number? You're really pretty." I just stood there, waiting for Lisa to answer, as he was clearly talking to her... right?
"Miss?" He spoke again, as Lisa elbowed her.
"He's talking to you, idiot." She hissed in my ear.
"Oh... OH!" I stood there, shocked as my face went beetroot red. "Sorry, I thought you were talking to my friend." I apologized, slightly bowing. The guy only smiled in return.
"You have a really cute smile." He chuckled.
"Oh thanks," I giggled, suddenly feeling very awkward. "Uh, I'm really sorry but I don't usually give my number out." This had to be one of my most awkward conversation ever!
"Oh, it's okay" The guy was defiantly disappointed, and me, not knowing what else to do just thanked him for the compliments and walked out hastily with Lisa crying by my side.
"Oh shut up, it's not that funny." I mumbled, still trying to cool my blushing face.
"That's because you weren't watching it!" Lisa chuckled, wiping a tear from the side of her eye. "Oh, your face was priceless!"
And that's how the rest of my walk to school went.
