I've got miles of regrets and confusing friends. But perhaps it's just my stupid head in the end.

Tom was walking home, his back bent forward a bit due to his terrible posture. But it was worse than normal. He had a lot on his mind at the moment. Why did Tord even give him his number? Didn't Tord hate him?

As Tom made it into his house he was greeted to his mother smiling at him.  "How was your day at school, Tommy?" She asked walking back into the kitchen where she was making dinner for the next couple of days. Tom only pulled out his phone and turned to walk to his room, followed by a 'THOMAS!'

Tom shut his door and jumped onto his bed opening up his contacts then pulling the small crumpled paper up. Wait. Did Tom want to text Tord? He sat up and thought for a moment. Tord seemed like a jerk who just wanted to get under Tom's skin. Maybe Tord wanted to post Tom's phone number online so everyone in the world could see it.

But then that would be very stupid on Tords part because Tom could just do the same to him. Tom began to type in Tords number then put it in. The brit typed in a simple, Hi, then sent it.

Now the reason why Tom was so easy to text the Norski was that in all honesty... Tom was desperate to have friends, and he didn't know why people didn't want to be his friends. Probably because he is extremely rude and doesn't even know how to keep one conversation without a single curse word.

Tom was looking at his phone screen for awhile awaiting a response but sighed as he saw nothing come up. Tom swiped out of the app and opened up Youtube to watch some CoryxKenshin until he saw a small message appear.

Tord: 'Hey, Tom. What made you decide to text me? :)'

The brit was caught off guard from the response. He grunted and clicked on the notification before he began to respond.

Tom: 'What the fuck do you want?'

Blunt, but it got things done. Tord began to respond.

Tord: 'Woah, who shit in your food today?'

Tord then sent a crying laughing emoji. Tom cocked an eyebrow and started to get frustrated with the Norski. He didn't know why but he just did, it was a strange feeling.

Tom: 'You.'

Tord: ' I hadn't shit all day, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't me. Anyways, would you ever like to hang out sometime?'

Tom scrunched up his face and furrowed his eyebrows. Did this guy really wanna hang out after all Tom did was be a big bitch to him? Tom laid his head back on his pillow taking a deep breath before exhaling. He lifted his phone to his face and began to type back.

Tom: 'Why not.'

The teen threw his phone down before he stood up and walked out of his room. Tom needed to think about a few things. He walked into the kitchen and sat down at the island in his kitchen.

"What made you decide to come out of your room?" Tom's mother Samantha asked. She walked over to sink and poured the pot of spaghetti into the colander letting all the steam rise into the air as she looked over at her son.

Tom put his elbow on the table then rested his head in the palm of his hand. "I need advice." He put plainly avoiding eye contact with his Mom. "Alright, what kind of advice do you need?"

"So there is this new guy in my school and he is being really weird around me... Like he doesn't get offended by me and he is just so stuck up!" Tom responded in a confused tone of voice.

Samantha thought for a moment. "Maybe you've met your match. Someone finally doesn't hate you for your sharp personality. Maybe this is your chance to make a good friend that isn't Edd or Matt. Tom, I know you've been through a lot but it has been over a year since everything online happened, you need to open up to new people. And besides those people were toxic and you didn't need them anyway."

Tom flinched at the thought of the 'incident'. "Mom, can we not bring that up? Please, and thank you." The brit emphasized. He closed his eyes and he placed his hands on his ears, remembering.

'Tom, every lie you've told stings through me. Every time you've pressured someone.'

"Tom?" The brits eyes shot open and he looked his mom who had placed her hand onto his shoulder.

Tom stood up and shrugged off her hand. "Sorry, I was just about to uh... text him." Tom chuckled nervously before he sighed. It was a few moments of awkward silence to which he smiled and rushed back to his bedroom. He laid back on his bed and that thought repeated in his mind.

He didn't lie... He was only doing what he thought was right and it was the bad thing. Tom grabbed his phone to get his mind off of things. That's when he remembered Tord. He opened up the app and saw that the foreign male responded.

Tord: 'Great, would you like to meet me at the Rawmall neighborhood park, around the swings?'

Tom: 'Uh... I'm not allowed to hang around the parks... My mom thinks ill get kidnapped or something like that.'

Tord: 'She doesn't have to know does she? Anyways I can cover for you Tom. Anyways what is the point in life if you don't take risks in life?'

The teen thought for a moment. He didn't want his mom to beat his ass but at the same time Tord was right, what is the point in life if you don't take risks? Tom took a moment before replying to Tord.

Tom: 'Alright I'll see you there but if you're boring I'm leaving.'

Tord: 'See you there Thomas.'
