"ARE YOU OKAY?" The girl looks up at the concerned boy. He grabbed her arms, helping her up from an unfortunate event of her tripping while on her scooter and a sweet boy decided to rescue her across the grassy park. The girl took his kind gesture, standing up, brushing off her dress and noticing her bleeding knees. "You should go home and get a bandaid." He suggested and the girl looked up, tears on the brim of her brown eyes.
"I- I will," She said. Her parents were fighting again so she decided to go to the park down the street her house. She picked up her scooter, her eyes not leaving the boy who awkwardly stood there, a small skateboard on his hand. She waved goodbye before turning around, limping with her scooter. Before she knew it, the same child before caught up to her, taking the scooter away from her with one hand. "That's mine!" She was about to fight back before she realized the giggling boy in front of her.
"Obviously," The sarcastic boy muttered. "I'm trying to help." He said.
"I don't need your help." The girl says and the boy smirked. Leading a scooter with one hand and his skateboard on the other, he shook his head in disbelief, walking away from the girl, walking the direction she was about to walk in. The girl only watched causing him to turn around, his innocent eyes beaming. He then scoffed, chuckling afterward.
