A week had passed since Taehyung first spotted the nameless boy.

To his surprise, he began seeing him a lot more often than expected.

Everyday, he would walk by the same lake, where the many young children with their parents or grandparents would come to feed the ducks.

And at the very corner of his eyes, he could see that same blonde haired, pale skin boy.

However, instead of his usual sleeping appearance, the boy looked to be doing something.

This triggered Taehyung's interest.

Slowly, he takes a step closer.

Each day, he would casually move an inch forward, approaching the other with steady caution.

The closer he walked, the more he could see.

Sat upon the green mellow, cross-legged and in a daze was the boy with a lighter in one hand and a burning dandelion in the other.

This intrigued Taehyung as he once more, took a couple of steps closer.

Unlike most people who wouldn't dare approach a stranger, Taehyung did the opposite.

After all, Taehyung was no ordinary person.

"Excuse me?" He quietly spoke, causing the unknown other to flicker his attention away from the dancing flame to instead, Taehyung's inquisitive expression.

"Yeah?" He didn't exactly sound friendly yet at the same time, he didn't come across as too mean either.

It was different to Taehyung.

Usually, people either liked him or despised him.

More so, he was hated by others.

But this boy was by far more diverse than Taehyung imagined even just with the first word uttered from him.

"What are you doing?"

"Burning dandelions." His words were short, only making Taehyung all the more curious as to who this person really was.

"Why?"

The boy shifts in his posture, fixing his back against the trunk of a large oak tree before muttering, "I like burning dandelions to watch their pain."

"Can I watch with you?"
