*KARLA's POV*
Year-1940Lucy is looking outside the window at the heavy rain, Edmund is doing something under a chair, and Susan is saying words so Peter,Shawn (who were sitting in the couch in front of me) and I can guess the language and the meaning of the word.
"Gastrovascular" Susan called out Peter's word "Come one,Peter. Gastrovascular"
"Is it Latín?" He guessed
"Yes" Susan responded
"Is it latin for 'Worst Game Ever Invented' " Edmund commented, to which Shawn,Peter and I give a small laugh but mad Susan close the book loudly."We could play hide and seek" suggested Lucy
"But we're already having so much fun" Peter said in a bored tone while looking at me,then back at Lucy.
"Come on Peter, Please" She begged "Pretty please?"
"1,2,3,4" Peter started to count
"What?" Edmund saidThem we ran to look for a place to hide while Peter continued to count. I hid under my bed.
Then I heard Peter shout "Ready or not, here I come", and Lucy yelling "It's all right! I'm back! I'm all right"
So I get out of my hiding place and run to where I heard her. I was the last one there so I say "Does this mean I win?"
"I don't think Lucy wants to play anymore"
" I've been gone for hours" she said
-Oh no-
Her siblings,Shawn and I look at her.
