"RYDER, WHERE'S MY PUP TAG!" Chase, a German shepherd pup yelled to his owner, Ryder. "It's right here, Chase. You dropped it when you were trying to find a pup suit. Or as you like to call it, "pup tuxedo"." Ryder, the 13 year old owner said as he rolled his eyes. Chase came dashing into the resting room the the lookout. The lookout was Chase and Ryder's home. Along with the rest of their pup friends. Chase quickly took his pup tag out of Ryder's mouth and put it on. "Phew," Chase said with a slight smile and relief. "You know, Chase, you don't HAVE to wear a tight tuxedo just to impress Skye." Ryder said smirking with a raised eyebrow. This made Chase stop wide-eyed. Chase looked back at Ryder with a low growl. "Oh, yeah? Like your not gonna try to impress Katie at the Valentines party!" Chase said with a comeback. It backfired on Ryder and Ryder's face was the same expression as Chase had just a few moments ago. Before Ryder could deny, Chase ran through the lookout looking for Ryder's "colon".

Ryder's mind

Something is seriously wrong with that pup. And yes...I do like Katie. But I'm NEVER gonna admit it. Especially to her... She's to pretty to go through all that mushy stuff. *Sighs* Besides, it's not like she likes me too...right?

(At Katie's pet parlor)

"OK, what to wear? What to wear?" Katie, a beautiful blonde haired 13 year old girl said panicking. Her cat, Callie meowed annoyed. Then she put a pillow over her head. "Sorry, Callie. I'm just so nervous! I want to make a good impression for Ryder..." Katie said with worry in her voice. Then Callie the purple grayish cat got down from the counter and nuzzled Katie as she purred. "Your right, Callie. I mean, I might not even see Ryder so it doesn't matter. But I better get home so I can get dressed." Katie said. She picked up her cat, hugged her, then closed the pet parlor and headed to her home in her pink motorcycle with Callie in the back in a cat cradle.

(At the lookout)

Marshall the dalmatian pup was walking around and then bumped into Everest the gray and white husky. "Oh, s-sorry Everest. I-I uh..." He said stuttering embarrassed. Everest laughed getting up. "No problem, Marshall. What you up to? Shouldn't you be crazy and rushing around the lookout trying to look good for Valentines Day like Chase?" Everest asked joking. "What?!? Why would I try looking good? I mean, I don't have a reason to look good because I don't like anyone so it wouldn't matter! Hehe, bye, Everest, gotta go!" Marshall said really fast and then ran away. Everest tilted her head confused. "OK...that was... weird." Everest said with her ears fully up. Marshall always stuttered when he was around Everest, let alone talking to her! Everest sighed sadly and looked down.

Everest's mind

Woah, I-I guess Marshall really DOESN'T like anyone. In a love way anyway. There goes my chances with him.

In the bathroom of the lookout, Skye, a cockapoo was getting ALL prettied up. She got a manicure, a nice bath, and now she was curling her ears and bang. She sighed dreamy as the blow dryer was still drying her ears and fur. "Once I put my dress on, Chase won't look at ANYTHING but me. Hopefully." She said with hope yet confidence. When she was all dry, she put her pink perfect dress on. She looked in the mirror one more time and then walked out to the place where all the pups' cars were. "Huh, guess I'm the only one done first." She said looking around with a slight smile. "Nope, I'm out here, too..." Everest said with her ears down all the way. She looked mad. "Woah, what happened to you?" Skye asked out of curiosity. Everest looked violently and quickly at Skye and glared. "Don't. Even. Mention it." She said growling.

(At the bay)

At the bay of Adventure Bay, Zuma, a cute yet tough brown lab pup was surfing. He didnt care much about love. He was just going to the party to support his friends because he knew that some of them liked others. "This ride is supew!" He yelled excitedly with his tongue out blowing the wind. He knew it was time to go to the Valentine party to he hurried to the bay and ran to the party himself. The one sad thing abut Zuma was isolation. He had friends but they weren't as in to him as they were with each other. Moslty because he never really got asked on any missions so he couldn't really bond.
