The Mission Part 2 (finale)

Just so everyone knows, when I said (finale) for my title, it's just the finale of "The Mission". Not the WHOLE story. Just if anyone was confused. Sorry if I scared you, XD!

Skye looked over waterfalls, caves, Jake's Mountain, everywhere! But she didn't look deep in the woods. The reason she HATED the woods she was about to go into was because they were the dark woods. The dark woods earned its name. Legend has it, the dark woods used to be a hideout for the Hated Black Wolf. It was an evil wolf who harassed people, pups, farm animals, and pets at night. Whenever it got chased off or seen, it went into the dark woods. No one has ever caught it because the Hated Black Wolf ran into the dark woods and everyone was afraid of that place. The Hated Black Wolf turned it into his home a week after he found it. One time, the Hated Black Wolf ran into the dark woods and never was seen again. More likely he never came back out. Some say he's still in there, protecting his home from anyone who dared get in. Others say he never even existed but the dark woods are still dangerous. All Skye knew, was anyone that went in there... never. Came. Out! Skye gulped and then ran back to her helicopter and flew away.

Skye's mind

*Shivers* Foxes probably aren't in there, heh.

As Skye was in her helicopter flying away as fast as possible, she saw an old man in the woods. The good woods. Not the scary woods. "Huh," she said to herself. She was curious.

Skye's mind

Maybe he knows where the foxes live.

(At Mr. Porter's restaurant)

"Ugh, where's Skye?" Chase asked impatiently. "I don't know but... she better get here soon." Rocky said then added, "AHH!" A fox ran right up to him.

(In the woods)

Skye landed her helicopter by the old man. "Hi, I'm Skye. Member of the PAW Patrol. Have you happened to see a place where foxes hang out?" Skye said properly. "Oh, these large foxes hang about everywhere! One is pregnant with a cub, but I haven't seen her around today..." The old man replied.

Skye's mind

Pregnant, huh?

"OK, well thank you," Skye smiled as she jumped in her helicopter preparing for take off. "But they don't live in one specific place?" Skye asked again. "Nope, I'd take them to the animal center to get them checked out. They were chased here by wolves." The old man replied. "Hmm, so they were chased here. So their home could be likely somewhere just not at Adventure Bay you're saying?" Skye said. "That's about it," the old man smiled. "OK, well... thank you. For... whatever this was..." Skye said as she flew away. The old man waved.

Skye went back to Mr. Porter's restaurant. "Skye! Did you find anything? A sign, anything?" Ryder wondered. "Anything? Yeah, I found anything. Even better, I found their home." Skye said. "Really? Great!" Ryder said, waiting for Skye to tell him where. "Not really. I met an old man in the woods and asked him if he knows where the foxes live. He seemed to know them and know what I was talking about. He said that they were chased here in Adventure Bay by a pack of wolves. So they've been living here for a few days, just roaming around." Skye explained. "That explains it," Chase smirked sitting next to Ryder. "Aww, you poor little guys. It must of been hard getting chased from your home." Rocky said to one of the foxes. He stayed away from them though so that he wouldn't get bit or scratched. Or attacked! "Oh right. One more thing. One of the foxes are pregnant." Skye said. "WHAT?!?" Everyone expect Skye yelled in fright. "Yeah..." Skye said unsure. "Well let's take them to the vet then we'll go on a trip to wherever these foxes live. I'm sure the vet'll know." Ryder smiled.
