people clap to lee nanyoungs singing. seungwon gave you concert tickets for you, you invited hyerin. you smile clapping to her music.
the crowd clapped as the song came to an end, "thank you everyone. i feel like i could sing all night. and I'm so happy to share my songs with my special guests. a few days ago i happened to hear a young lady sing. it was literally music to my ears. it was so good.. i couldn't sleep all night. music can touch and stir people's souls. she made me realize the joy of singing again. and she's here tonight" nanyoung tells the audience looking over at the table where you, seungwon, and hyerin were sitting at
"will you sing for us?" nanyoung asks holding her hand out
hyerin smiles covering her mouth looking at you proudly, along with seungwon. "ms. jang hyerin" nanyoung calls
your smile leaves for a couple seconds and it becomes a frown as you look over at hyerin who also seemed shocked.
after a couple seconds you look at hyerin and smile looking around seeing the people wait, "go on up there!" you whisper to hyerin smiling
hyerin hesitantly stands up and walks up to the front feeling nervous and hesitant. "written and composed by choi chi-rim, spring dream!" nanyoung informs before leaving hyerin up in the front alone
hyerin begins to sing spring dream, you smile seeing your friend sing. you then look over at seungwon who seemed to have all his attention to hyerin. he looked invested by her singing.
without you realizing your smile slowly became a frown seeing your lover look at another women very different.
-a couple days later
you look down at your drink that hasn't been touch ever since you got it. one specific thing has been on your mind for awhile, you couldn't seem to stop thinking about it.
"Your boyfriend is strange.."
"seungwon?"
"yes. he asked me to make an album"
"he asked you?"
"yes. he said he's choi chi-rim, who wrote spring dream"
"what did you say?"
"what?"
"did you say you'll do it?"
"it's true?"
"y/n-ah, are you alright? you've been staring off into space for like minutes" one of the barista says you look at him and shake your head with a smile
"im fine" you assure the barista and continues to work
the doorbell rings meaning someone entered the bar getting your attention. it's closed for today.
"oh? hyerin-ah" you call her name showing a small smile
hyerin sits next to you showing a blank stare, "i must become a singer"
hyerin finally looks at you, "seungwon explained. that my voice must be joseons heart" hyerin informs you
you look at hyerin with a hurt expression.
seungwon said that..?
you stand up and walk past hyerin, "y/n-ah!" hyerin calls for you, it wasn't enough to stop you.
you walk out the bar only to be welcomed by the pouring rain. it didn't matter though. you run through the streets that are already wet from the rain, your dry clothes slowly got soaked by the pouring rain.
you run to seungwons house, it wasn't far from the bar.
you knock onto the door a couple times feeling your eyes become watery. after a couple more knocks and he finally opened.
seungwon looks at you with confusion, your clothes were soaked. "y/n?"
"why is it hyerin and not me?" you asked, that question got to seungwon. "come inside" seungwon says as he stretched his hand out to get you inside, you only took a step back.
"why hyerin?" you asked once again
"im sorry. but i need hyerin for my song. now, come in, i don't want you to get sick" seungwon says trying to touch you which you only took a step back.
you turn your heel and walk down the steps, "y/n"
you stop walking, "you said.. you said i could sing one of your songs. is my voice not good enough?" you asked seungwon facing him
seungwon doesn't respond, "ill.. ill sing another song for you" you insist
you began singing, your voice was unsteady due to your crying. if it wasn't for your shaky voice seungwon wouldn't have noticed you were crying due to the rain that blended with your tears.
your voice cracked making you stop, you covered your face as you cried into your hands. seungwon felt his heart shatter, he hates seeing you cry especially if he made you cry. it made him feel guilty, as if he doesn't deserve you.
seungwon walks to you and pulls you into his arms hugging you tightly. "listen my lady. until now.. ive never had anyone in my heart but you. itll always be you that is in my heart" seungwon says pulling away still holding onto your shoulders
seungwon cups your face, "my love won't change, okay?" seungwon assures you
your breathing hitched every so and then due to your crying, you only nod in response not being able to talk.
"then why are you crying?" seungwon asks
"because.. i really wanted to sing one of your songs too" you managed to say and felt like crying again
you cover your face crying, seungwon smiles seeing how you became. he found it cute.
"ill make all the song you want. ill make a hundred songs for you!" seungwon tells you trying to cheer you up
you look at him and hug him. the couple hugged, and forgot it was even raining. the two stayed hugging never wanting to let go. another sweet memory was created.
