Jaehyun laid on his bed. It was around 9 pm, and since he was grounded, he decided to get ahead on his literature assignment. He pulled out the book from his bag that he dragged upstairs. He had found his page instantly and begun reading.

It was short lived. He stopped after a few minutes, barely making it past 3 pages before he turned to the hoodie on the other side of the bed. He stared at it for a moment, unconsciously imagining Taeil wearing it, and smiled.

Jaehyun pulled the hoodie to him, allowing him to catch the scent of the Omega. It was strong, which made him wonder if the older did more than just wear it by accident. He heard about scenting something and giving it to your mate as a way to comfort them. Mark and Donghyuck do it all the time, half the time without realizing. What if Taeil hyung scented it on purpose? What if he slept with it? He heard that that was a thing too.

He didn't mind any of it. His scent was soothing despite its sweet-ish nature.

Jaehyun had never mentioned this, but ever since that morning, he had been feeling a little hot. He had thought that maybe he was getting sick, but he remembered that it started just before his fight with Namjoon. He had never felt so much rage inside himself before, so he wondered if that fueled the fire to the fight. Hearing him talk about Taeil made his head spin. All he could hear in his mind was 'He's Mine'. Any other time, Jaehyun would like to think that maybe he would've been the bigger man and not fought, but the heat that was rising inside of him said otherwise.

The more he smelled the jacket, the more his mind started to drift. It almost felt like he was falling asleep, but the heat begun to flare up once more. His mind was clouded with thoughts that he never would've ever thought about; actions that he could vaguely recognize as wrong.

One specific action crossed his mind: He needed to get to Taeil.

He just has to be near Taeil.

With shaking legs, he stumbled off the bed and headed to his door. His hand gripped the doorknob. A part of him did not want to proceed, making him hesitate to turn the knob, but he did anyway.

He was sneaking out.

Risked my life to go to the store early in the morning on christmas eve for some totinos pizza rolls.... worth it. Also super happy that I switched shifts with someone, so I didn't have to work Christmas eve. I ended up sleeping until 5 pm. Imma game with my bro today cuz he's not used to being alone on christmas.
