If there's anything Princess Sofia and her best friend—and boyfriend—Prince Hugo love doing together, it would be Enchanted Ice-Dancing. They've already done two ice-dancing ballets at the Corinthian Sports School, and since Wassalia was coming up, they were hoping to do another one this year. But they just don't know what ballet they want to do.
Sofia, Hugo, and their friends were in their ice-dancing class, and they were having lots of fun. Miss Pamela was just impressed with her students.
"Great job, my tiny dancers—I think you're ready to perform another ice-dancing ballet this year," Miss Pamela smiled.
All the students were happy to hear that.
"I wonder what ballet we're doing this time," Sofia beamed.
"That's the problem, dear—I haven't decided on an appropriate ballet," Miss Pamela said.
"Well, we already did The Nutcracker last year," Hugo said.
"And we did Coppelia earlier in the year," Linda added.
"Maybe we can all think of different ballets to do," Sofia suggested. "We'll just do some research, and tomorrow we'll share our ideas."
"Sounds good, Sofia," Miss Pamela smiled.
Everyone else agreed—they would look up some good ballets and share their ideas.
After school, Sofia and Hugo were talking about ideas for ballets.
"What ballet could we perform this year?" Sofia asked.
"We could do Cinderella," Hugo suggested. "It'll be like the day we started this relationship but in a different way."
"That would be something," Sofia smiled. "Maybe we can do Snow White. There are so many ideas for an ice-dancing ballet, it's hard to pick just one."
"Well, we'll just have to share our ideas with our classmates tomorrow," Hugo said. "See you then?"
"You sure will," Sofia smiled, heading for her flying coach.
On the way home, Sofia's older sister, Amber, asked, "How was school, Sofia?"
"Great," Sofia smiled. "The ice-dancing class wants to put on another Wassalia ballet this year."
"What ballet?" James asked.
"We don't know yet," Sofia replied. "We're going to figure that out."
"You can do Sleeping Beauty," Amber suggested.
"Or maybe Tangled," James suggested. "You already have the perfect hair for the ending."
"Thanks, James," Sofia smiled. "We'll have to see what everyone else says."
Meanwhile, at Prince Desmond's castle, he was really excited because this year is his baby sister Carrie's first Wassalia—and he wanted to throw a party to celebrate.
"This party is going to be a blast," Desmond beamed. "What do you think, Carrie?"
Baby Carrie cooed as though she was talking.
"Yes, I'm excited, too," Desmond beamed. He nuzzled his nose against Carrie's and cooed, "Baby sister is going to have so much fun—isn't that right?"
"Slow down, son," King Calvin chuckled. "I know you're excited for Carrie's first Wassalia, but save your happiness for the party."
"Sorry, Dad," Desmond smiled. "I'm just bursting."
Carrie excitedly cooed as though she agreed with her big brother.
"I think I'd better call the doctor because your excitement is more infectious than a virus, and there's no cure," Queen Kathy joked.
The whole family laughed at that joke.
Meanwhile, at Hugo's palace, King Garrick and Queen Samira had some news.
"Boys, we can good news to share," Samira said. "King Calvin and Queen Kathy have invited us to a Wassalia party at their palace."
"Wow, that sounds exciting," Axel smiled.
"I bet this is for baby Carrie's first Wassalia," Hugo surmised.
"Could be," Samira grinned. "Who wouldn't want a party to celebrate a baby's first Wassalia?"
"Good point," Garrick smiled.
Meanwhile, at Enchancia Castle, Sofia's family had gotten together for dinner.
"We have three pieces of great news to share with you all," Miranda smiled. "First, we've been invited to a Wassalia party at Desmond's castle."
"For baby Carrie's first Wassalia?" Sofia asked.
"Indeed," Roland smiled.
"Brilliant," James beamed.
"Second, Uncle Rodrigo is coming on Wassalia Eve, and he has a big surprise to share with us," Miranda went on.
"Delightful," Amber smiled. "It's been almost a year since we last saw him."
"It sure has," Sofia smiled.
"Last but not least, Aunt Dottie and Uncle Jason are coming, too," Miranda revealed.
"Oh, that's great," Sofia beamed. "We haven't celebrated Wassalia with them since before Daddy died. I don't know if it's possible, but this year might be even better than last year."
"Goodness knows," James smiled.
