"Ariana let's go." She grins at me while tugging my hand. I smile at her excitement and let her drag me towards the lit street.
"I'm coming!" I told her giggling while taking my time. She roll her eyes and hook her arms with mine and gave me a peck on the lips. She paused for a second and gave me another and another before giving me an actual kiss.
"I love kissing you. Now let's go see the lights baby!" I wore a blush on my face as she took me to the lights.

We've been 'Oh'ing and 'Ah'ing for the 20 minutes we've been walking. Suddenly just as we were about to round the block back to our home, my eyes are covered.
"Normani... What are you doing?" I asked with a smile on my lips. She laughs a little in my ear before whispering. "It's a surprise baba. Just a few more steps." I shrug and let her guide me.
"Okay keep your eyes closed." I give her a thumbs up and I feel her warm breath fanning my face meaning she was checking. Her presence left me and I shiver from the sudden coolness.
After what felt like five minutes I was being yelled at from a distance. "Open your eyes Ariana!" I did as I was told and my eyes watered. Our house was decorated from the chimney all the way down to the walk way. What got me the most was the doggies that resembled all of mine on the roof with me and Normani in the sleigh. I couldn't keep my smile in. I kept it together and ran into Normani's arms.
"Thank you so much Normani. I love it, so much!" I kiss her all over her face and hugged her around the neck. I gave her a deep kiss and backed up.
"You're welcome my love."
2nd Day of Christmas
"You're so beautiful, but something's missing.." My eyebrows furrow at my girlfriend's words. We were in the middle of taking a "Family" portrait with our pets for christmas post cards. We hired Blair to do it for us and all. I had on an ugly green Christmas sweater with black leggings and a Santa hat, Normani had on the same thing but adorn a red sweater instead.
"What could possibly be missing?" Normani only smiles at me before backing up and leaving the room. She came back and her confident smile was replaced with a nervous one. She had her hands behind her back. I looked at her puzzled. What is she hiding?
Normani dropped down on one knee and I let out a small squeak and my hands flew to my mouth. My eyes watered. Fuck not again! Second week of December.
"N-now this isn't me asking for your hand in marriage b-but this is my promise to you. We've been dating for three years now and I truly know that before you I never knew what happiness felt like. You gave me a reason to live, you support me in everything I do, you boost my confidence up. When we met all I did was admire you to an extent and after a while we became close. You asked me out surprisingly and I couldn't have been happier. You are my world, my universe, the air I breathe, the rays of sunshine I take in. You're MY everything. This is my promise to you. I will always protect the heart of gold you've given me and keep all of my love for you for the rest of our days. Please keep this promise ring till we get old watching our great grandchildren play in the yard. I promise the next time I'm on my knee it'll be me giving you your engagement ring. I promise to love you forever." I couldn't breathe. I was sure my face was soaked with my tears.
"I'm s-sorry." I apologize for crying. She seem to take this the wrong way but I fiercely nod my head telling her my answer.
"Yes baby oh my God!" She smiles hard and hugs me hard. I laugh as she picked me up and spun me around. I hear a click that came with a flash.
3rd Day of Christmas
We were lying in bed staring at the ceiling together. We had nothing to do surprisingly. I hear her breathe out before feeling her shift to— i guess turn to face me. I did the same, turning on my side to stare at her gorgeous face.
We sat there for a while admiring the other. I run my hands down her face, letting my thumb run across her beautiful full lips. I look her in the eyes to see her staring back at me already.
"I love you." I meant that from the bottom of my heart. I am so in love with her. She's shown me how to feel this, I will forever be in her debt. I gave her a long kiss on the lips before pulling her close to me.
"I love you more."
4th Day of Christmas
"You sure babe?" Normani nods at me and took her shirt off with my help. She kissed me hard and I return the favor.
"I want you Ari." I nod with a small smile and gave her a loving kiss.
"I'll be gentle.. This time around."
5th Day of Christmas
"What do you want for christmas baby?" I raise an eyebrow at her. She literally spent so much on me this month and Christmas is in two more weeks. I scoff at her and hug her from behind, resting my head on her back.
"I want forever with you." I mumble into her back with my eyes closed. She was warm.
6th Day of Christmas
"Of course I'm getting what you're getting. You're already making a risks by having a mistake permanent. I'm not gonna let you do it by yourself." I finally give in just as we walked into tattoo parlor.

"You got it on your chest?" I grind sheepishly.
"Absolutely, I'm your moonlight and you're my star and nothings shinning more than you. It's on my heart so I can carry you in it wherever I go." it was finally her turn to cry. She gave me a tight hug.
"I love you, more than you'll ever know. Merry it's almost Christmas!"
