"Darling... are you still up?" the soft, sultry sound of Mettaton's voice was barely above a whisper. Yet, despite Undyne's ungodly snoring, you were able to hear him. It really was rather amazing that you heard it. How could the fish woman snore without a nose? Was it her gills? How did that even work? Regardless of your errant thoughts, you tapped your monster boyfriend's arm twice in confirmation and he chuckled gently. "May I remind you that it's going to be a rather big day? In about... five hours?"

Silently grumbling to yourself, you lightly slap his chest and his quiet chuckles turned into a light chortle. How could you not know how important today was? Why would he even bother to remind you in the first place? Lifting your head, you gave him a scowl that could rival Toriel's but that only seemed to tickle Mettaton even further.

"Oh, sweetheart, calm down. I'm just teasing. Despite having such a late night, you slept like the dead for at least a few hours. Which is more than I can say for myself." The robot idol paused to let out a yawn before settling himself a little more into the giant bed nest. "I may not need as much sleep as the rest of you but I can't say that nerves aren't beginning to show."

You blinked before maneuvering yourself so that you could lay on him in a more comfortable position while being able to respond back. "Can't say that I'm surprised, Metts. It's the same reason why I can't sleep either." Now it was your turn to yawn before continuing. "Frankly, I don't know how the others can sleep at all." You paused to turn your head and look at your friends only to click your tongue in surprise. "Actually, where is Sans?" The said skeleton was currently MIA in the giant cuddle nest.

Mettaton quirked an eyebrow as he looked around the room. Yet the smaller skeleton was nowhere to be seen. "Hm... seems like we aren't the only ones that are stir crazy this morning. I wonder where he went."

With Sans's teleport ability, he could be anywhere. Instead of worrying about it, you shrugged and moved to vacate the nest of softness. If you were going to be up then you might as well do something productive. Ignoring Mettaton's inquiring eyes, you made your way into one of the adjoining rooms. When you didn't find what you were looking for there, you jumped room to room until you did.

"Gorgeous? Why are you in the kitchen?" Mettaton asked as he followed you out of the comfort zone and into the room with a kitchen that you had deemed worthy. The others had been to small for your plans.

Giving the brightest grin you could, you went about gathering ingredients and setting them up. Normally, you would have called room service but, with all of the coming and going to fix the cave exit and set up for the song, everyone started bringing normal groceries. It was easier to make sometimes. "For such a big day, we all should eat something good! I mean we have the time to kill and this could help us relax." you signed as you gathered. "What better way to do both of those things than to cook breakfast for everyone?"

"That... is a splendid idea, beautiful." The robot monster replied with enthusiasm and moved to the counter and began cracking eggs. With that, you both settled in and worked on preparing a large breakfast. Even if it was just bacon, scrambled eggs, and toast. It wasn't long until the delicious smells roused the other sleepyheads and the tranquility you had began to feel was lost to the craziness to come.
