Elsa's POV

I was looking at the ring I was wearing. He tried to propose to me.  How sad, he didn't make it. If he was here and I said yes, we should have been a happy couple.  A knock was on the door.

" Come in." I said boringly and sadly with a soft voice. The door opened and it revealed mom.

"Tttt." Was the sound I made before crying completely in mom's arms.

" MOM, PLEASE BRING HIM BACK! MOM, LOOK! HE PROPOSED TO ME. PLEASE, MOM, PLEASE. I CAN'T LET HIM GO. I CAN'T LET GO." I said showing her the ring. She nodded.

" It was our plan. I'm sorry, dear. But Jack is gone. You should let go. Forget him. Even though we know it's hard for you." Mom said. I shook my head.

  " I can't. "I whispered.

It was midnight.  I already got my bags and my sleeping bag. I looked at the guestroom where my parents are sleeping and saw them asleep. I closed the door silently and rushed outside to get a taxi and go to the hospital. I went to the morgue and saw a nurse coming out from the room. I ran to her and held her arms.

" Miss, please let me in. I want to see my boyfriend. Please.'' I begged. She looked at me sadly and let go of my hand.

" I'm sorry, but you can't. " she said and locked the door.  My eyes widened. I knelt down.

  "Miss, please stand up."

"Please let me see him. Please, I'm begging you." I said and tears were flowing. She shook her head.

" I'm sorry, but it's an order. You can't go in." She said and left. I just looked blankly at the door. I didn't want to leave. I arranged my sleeping bag and sat on it.

"I'm going to sing for you, Jack. So that you could sleep peacefully even though you can't see me." I whispered and cleared my throat.

Tonight"

I remember the times we spent together

All those drives, we had a million questions

All about our lives

And when we got to New York everything felt right

I wish you were here with me,

Tonight

I remember the days we spent together,

Were not enough, it used to feel like dreaming

Except we always woke up,

Never thought not having you here now

Would hurt so much

Tonight I've fallen and I can't get up

I need your loving hands to come and pick me up

And every night I miss you

I can just look up

And know the stars are

Holding you, holding you, holding you

Tonight

I remember the time you told me

About when you were eight

And all those things you said that night

That just couldn't wait

I remember the car you were last seen in

And the games we would play

All the times we spilled our coffees

And stayed out way too late

I remember the time you sat and told me

About your Jesus, and how not to look back

Even if no one believes us

When it hurts so bad, sometimes

Not having you here

I sing

Tonight I've fallen and I can't get up

I need your loving hands to come and pick me up

And every night I miss you

I can just look up

And know the stars are

Holding you, holding you, holding you

Tonight

I sing

Tonight I've fallen and I can't get up

I need your loving hands to come and pick me up

And every night I miss you

I can just look up

And know the stars are

Holding you, holding you, holding you

Tonight

Tears came out. I wiped them away.

"I'm sorry if I cried. I know you told me not to cry but I just can't.  I love yu and I miss you, my Augustus Waters. Don't worry, I won't leave. I'll stay here and sleep beside you." I said and fell asleep on my sleeping bag in front of the door.
