That Daylight

James' POV

Oh my God! I can't believe I'm actually doing this!

I am kissing Elsa right now.

Her lips tasted sweet on mine.

I felt all the love I was looking for.

And I found it with her.

She pulled away and we both noticed that people were cheering at us. The crowd was in awe and I looked at Elsa who was blushing.

''Hey, Elsa. I thought you're with J-''

''Please don't say his name. He's a total jerk and liar. I'll explain later'' she said cutting me off. I nodded and smiled at her.

'Wait, isn't that Elsa Arens?''

''Oh yeah! And that's James Bennett. He is super hot!''

''They're from the Heart Stopper Magazine!''

And with that, people started chasing us. Elsa and I ran out of the airport. I went to the driver's seat of Elsa's car and she sat beside me.

'''Go, go, go!'' she said and I drive fast away from the airport. I stopped the car and we both laughed. Her laugh made my heart warm. If only I could record it and make it as my alarm clock or ringtone. I stopped.

''So, are we together now?'' I asked her and she blushed.

''If you want to. Any option is fine with me. I mean I caused so much pain to you.'' she said and I shook my head.

''It was because I loved you. Don't worry, I'm not angry.'' I said and kissed her cheek.

''Thank you, James.'' she said and I nodded.

''So, you can tell me what really happened.'' I said and she sihed.

''It's a long story.'' she said and bit her lower lip.

''We have plenty of time.'' I said and she looked outside deciding if she would tell me or not. I hold her hands.

''Hey, I'll listen. I won't judge.'' I said and she smiled. Finallly.

''Well, when the photoshoot was over, Jack and I went to my house. We were outside the gate when it rained so we decided to change our clothes. I changed mine and when I got out of the bathroom, I saw a tattoo.'' she said.

''It's just a tattoo, what's the deal with it?'' I asked her. She sighed once again.

''That tattoo, I could never forget that tattoo. It was my ex's tattoo. His name is Hans. And with the word Helsa on it, I knew he wasn't Jack but Hans. He fooled me, James.'' she whimpered and I hugged her. She cried harder on my chest. I didn't care if it would stain my shirt, but I want to comfort her. I rubbed her back.

''And. And he also tried to touch me.'' With those words, I stopped.

''J-James?'' she asked whiled sniffing. I drove faster than ever before. Elsa was trying to stay calm and squealed when I made a sharp turn.

''James, what is wrong with you!?" she asked me.

''I'm going to look for that asshole and teach him a lesson.'' I said coldly. She shook her head.

''No, James, no no need.'' she said tugging at my arm.

''If you don't, I need it.'' I said and stopped in front of Elsa's house. Elsa and I got in. We saw her parents sitting down on the couch.

''Elsa, my dear, Jack was looking for you earlier. He said you two fought. He really wanted to make things right so he said he would come here later.'' her mom flashed a smile.
