Now, the story is set in the fictional city of Wesford, in a not-so-near future where the 80's nostalgia collapsed with a shortage of technological advances and hair bands are back (yas!). It features a lot fantasy, hints of sci-fi, horror and romance, but I like to think about the novel as magical-realism! Or well, kind of... Many magical, illogical and paranormal things are not that out of place here, and it's pretty much meant to be that way. It's a surreal, all-over-the-place kind of adventure!
So beware: Get ready for an adventurous, dramatic and particular mess full of strange people and strange places.
