Jacob peered slowly through the fog. A silhouette appeared in the distance, a dog much larger than his own. He was walking his dog, Chloe, on a foggy October morning when this dog appeared. He quickly picked up Chloe, fearing for her safety. Chloe was the type of dog who thought she could rule the world some day, she wanted to chase the much larger dog. Suddenly his worst enemies, Zac and Samantha appeared.
Zac and Samantha were seen as the schools cutest couple. They had been dating for a year and were just perfect for each other. Zac had considered proposing but, after some research, he found that they were too young to be married. Zac and Samantha persecuted Jacob on a daily basis. They had paired up everyone in school and pressured Jacob to have a relationship. They got everyone to make him feel isolated and afraid after he refused.
Jacob ran. He sat Chloe down on the ground and she ran too, faster than she ever has. They ran as much as they could, although the fog covered up his eyesight. It had appeared that Zac and Samantha had seen him because they were following behind. Following with their large dog directly in front, no leash in the dog at all. Jacob was no athlete and certainly not faster than a dog. Chloe was a young pup, and, though faster than Jacob, she too was no match for this gigantic hound. The dog caught up with them, shoved Jacob to the ground and scratched into his face, deep enough for it to bleed a little. Zac and Samantha laughed at him, took their dog, and ran back into the fog. Jacob ran inside his house and up into his room. He sat there and cried.
