HANGING OUT WITH CARA AND A MYSTERIOUS MAN

"You know I really took it personal when you left me all alone with the guests that night" Lucy started giving me a small glare, I just shrugged and sank back to my seat. I could care less, All I care for was the night me and Cara had. I would literally give my book collection for that night to rewined.

"You seemed to handle it pretty fine" I looked at her raising my brows. I saw her eyes almost buldge out and i'm faking it that she's now pretty angry "Barely!" She yelled knocking over some plastic cups making a mess on the floor as well as the table.

"Okay! I'm sorry i was with someone!" I said hoping to calm her down. I don't see what I just said calming "And that someone was more important than me so you just leave me alone with the guests?!?! Unbelievable" She huffed and slammed her hand onto the table.

"Look when I left everyhing was in place, Everyone was minding their own business especially you so I thought I wasn't needed anymore so i went with Cara" I explained. She only gave me hurt look.

"So you thought I didn't need you anymore? Did you really think I would throw you to the bin? Wow what a friend you are! " She rolled her eyes starting to walk away. "What the hell Lucy? You are over-reacting" I shook my head and huffed. What the hell crawled up her ass this morning?

She stayed quiet but still had that cold look in her eyes but after a few moments of deadly silence she finally sighed and and took a seat, Her eyes softening a bit. "You're right I am overreacting" She sulked back in her seat I came closer to her and rubbed her back "It's just that something happened back in Oklahoma"

"What happened?" I asked "My Aunt has breast cancer and yeah it's killing her but it's killing me more, She was the mother I never had, My role model, The first person I ever looked up to, The one who was there for me, Caring for me as if i was her own child. . ." A tear slipped from her eye as I catched it with my thumb and quickly wiped it away.

"But she isn't going to die Lucy I mean we don't even know yet!" I caressed her hand with my thumb reassuring her. "She is going to die Allie! She's on her fu***ng death bed right now!" She yelled, Tears pouring furiously out of her eyes. Now she was full on bawling "Wait what? Why didn't you visit her right away?" I asked her.

"Because f-flights are can-cancelled due to the w-weather we're hav-having and because I-I just found o-out not too long a-ago" she struggled to say because of the amount of tears flowing from her eyes. I was beyond appalled to hear this from her, I mean why wouldn't I be? She was literally the only person besides her Aunt's husband and bestfriend who her aunt still kept contact on.

"For how long has she had cancer?"
"4 years" she mumbled rubbing her eyes, I almost choked. 4 whole years? And those four years she did NOT know a single thing about this? That's honestly so messed up. "How come?" I furrowed my brows. She gave me a broken look before replying "Apparently Auntie didn't want to see me hurt over this but now that she knows she's about to die she wamts to see me as her last wish and h-honestly" she coughed, tears starting to flow again "It would be much easier right now if she told me four fucking years ago!" She yelled as heartbreaking sobs left her.

"Let it all out babe" I engulfed her in a huge hug as she sobbed onto my shirt "I'm so damn angry Allie but I can't be a-angry at her be-because she's literally about to di-die" her voice cracked at the end making a single tear leave my eye. I quickly wiped it off.
"You have all the right to be angry Lucy, She kept this from you for four years, I would just as angry as you" I placed my chin onto the top of her head. "Don't be so sour Luce, Maybe she'll live-" she cut me off by shaking her head and saying "Doubt it" she wiped her tears.
