Prologue (Part 1)

Time Travel - Bai Feng Jiu

After the events of my coronation to become Queen of the Fox Clan, my aunt Bai Qian married the new Heavenly Emperor making her the new Empress with their son A-Li as Crown Prince. I had tried day after day and night after night to forget Dijun, but for some reason, my heart hurts everyday, mostly nights where I cried myself to sleep, even some nights I couldn't sleep at all.

Sitting at the table in the middle of the room with a empty cup in front of me, a puff of white magical smoke appeared, it was my aunt who had appeared out of nowhere. 

"Feng Jiu" she says and I stand up, a smile on my face and ran to her side. 

"Aunt!" I say giving her a hug. I had missed her since she went to live in the Heavenly Palace.

"Your Majesty, please address your Empress per the rules" one of my aunt's maids said stepping up to me but Qian Qian held a hand up

"It is fine, she is my niece and she is also Queen of the Fox Clan" Qian Qian said.

I take my aunt's hand and led her to the table where I was sitting and called Mi Gu to get some peach wine for us. We sat down as Mi Gu brought the jug of peach wine and set it on the table, I poured my aunt a cup and handed it to her as I also poured my own. 

"It's Uncles peach wine, the one that you like" I say as she smiles "thank you, my wonderful niece" she said patting my hand.

We both drank at the same time, I sculled my own down as she sipped hers. QianQian was a light drinker now, cause she always got drunk when she sculled a cup. As I was onto my second cup of peach wine, I had started to fee dizzy. QianQian asked Mi Gu what is in the peach wine and he told her that he was given it by one of my maids that QianQian sent me.

I had never gotten drunk on my second cup of wine before, QianQian then takes the cup from my hand and sets it down, she was looking at me worriedly. 

"Are you okay Feng Jiu?" she asks as I rub my temple. 

"I don't feel so well" I reply back to her as I fell off the chair, losing consciousness, eyes closing.

When I finally came to, I opened my eyes and looked around me. I saw that I was lying on the ground, seeing people who were not wearing the same clothes as me. I sat up and looked around, feeling that my headdress was still on and that I was still wearing my red dress from my aunt's visit.

Out of all the people who walked past that didn't ask me if I was okay or lent me a hand, a girl with brown hair, shortened to her shoulders walked up to me, her light blue eyes looking at me as she held a hand out. 

"Are you okay?" she asked as I took her hand and she helped me up "I'm fine" I say to her.

"You either look like you aren't from here or you are coming from a cosplay convention" the girl said as I dusted my dress off. 

"I am Queen Bai Feng Jiu of the Fox Clan, but it looks like I am nowhere near my home" I looked around. 

"Have you, by some chance, lost your memories?" she asked.

"If I lost my memories, I wouldn't be standing here talking to you, I would still be in my Fox den talking to my aunt and drinking peach wine with her" I snapped, gritting my teeth and the girl sighs. 

"This might take us a while to get you up to date" she says as she takes my hand and pulls me behind her as she walks while I complain.
