Chapter Three

Love and Jealousy

As the morning sun rose, we walked into the office with Xu'er behind us, making our way to the recording booth to get Dijun's audio recorded. "There's a pile of scripts by the microphones, choose which one you want to sample" I say to him as I turn the equipment on and moved some stuff by the hanging microphones and plugged in the headphones.

Dijun walks to me and shows me the script he picked out. The title was In A Love's Dream, I nod and he picked where the female lead was leaving the male lead, but then the man lead wouldn't let her leave so he confessed his feelings by kissing her.

A blush crept to my cheeks as I read it before I look to the window that showed outside the booth and held a thumbs up to her as both Dijun and I put the headphones. Xu'er gave us the mics and taking a deep breath, I started with my lines first.

"You knew how I felt about you, but you still flirted with Mini!" I say angrily into the mic and nodded to Dijun "I wasn't flirting with her, I was trying to get her off me, because I wanted to go to you so badly, to tell you I loved you" he said.

The words he said reminded me of the time when we were back home, where he told me he couldn't be with me because his name wasn't on the Rock of Three Incarnations.

After the recording, I asked Xu'er to send the copies to the President as we made our way to the Photo Studio for the sample photo shoot. I decided to take part as we were dressed in deisgner clothes, our hair and make up were done to.

I was dressed in designer jeans, a white crop top and black heel boots, my short hair curled and bracelets on my wrists and rings on my finger. Hanging hoop earring adorned my ears and a blue headband sat on my head. Dijun wore the men's designer jeans, a button up black shirt, his hair slick back in some ways and black converse shoes.

Posing in front of the white screen, the cameraman took photos and we made some silly ones to, smiles on our faces and eyes in every way possible.

After we were done, we sent them to the President and after we hung around the lounge room waiting for the President, we were eventually called in, but not to talk about the contract signing for Dijun.

We sat on the chairs opposite the President, waiting for him to explain. "There are reporters who want to make an appointment with you both about your personal lives and about yourselves, we never got to when Feng Jiu was here when she started here" he said and I nod "of course, you can book it for this afternoon" Dijun said.

As the hours ticked by, Su-Li walked in, she was the same as me - an actor, Idol and Model. When I was brought into here, I took her jobs and she was so angry at me, I had bet it was jealousy. She walked up to Dijun, looking him over before she started flirting with him.

Before I knew it, jealousy took over and I stood up, walking to Dijun, slipping my arm into his. "Honey" I say and pouted, looking at Su-Li "who is this woman?" I asked, looking at her before looking him in the eyes. "No, one Ju'er" he said, kissing my cockscomb birth mark on my forehead.

Throwing a smirk at Su-Li, she huffs as she walked off. "You did that to annoy her, didn't you?" he asked me and I nod. "When I got scouted, I basically took away her jobs, because to them, I had more beauty then her, plus, they liked my birth mark" I say as I tap it with my finger.

As the reporters came, we sat in a soundproof room, the President at the end of the table, with the reporters sitting opposite me and Dijun as they took a photo for the article.

"So today, we have Bai Feng Jiu and this must be Dong Hua Dijun" the woman said and we nodded. "We are going to ask you some questions and you will answer us truthfully, if you don't have an answer, you may remain quiet and we can put that down as a no answer" she said after we nodded.

"How did you both get scouted by World Entertainment?" the woman named Su-Ah asks. "Let's just say that I was out taking a stroll when I bumped into Xu'er and she took me under her wing, trained me and got me a contract. Within the first day, I was doing photo shoots, recordings for albums and got to star in my first drama" I say with a smile.

"Mine is mostly like hers, but I did some sample recordings from a script and sample photos as well" Dijun said and Su-Ah nods as she goes to the next question. "There is rumours swirling around about you two, but let's be honest here, the people of Shanghai China needs to know, are you both dating each other?" she asks.

I looked at Dijun as he nods and I looked back at her with the hugest smile on my face. "The truth is yes, we are dating, we just got together last night actually, he made me the happiest girl on Earth" I say as Su-Ah smiles.

After the questions were asked and answered, the reporters bowed and left, the President told us that we had a photo shoot together tomorrow morning and left us to go home.

Walking out the double glass doors, I stretched my arms and turned to Dijun "let's go on a date tonight" I say and he nods as he walks up to me and takes my hand, walking with me to the car.

We went home and got changed, before embarking on our date.

I showed him the movies, we watched a historical one, since we both came from that background, we could sympathise with them. After the movie, we went to dinner, then we took a stroll along the beach, the night air was cool and as we held hands, he occasionally kissed my forehead.
