Chapter One

Sweet Reunion and a Secret

"Feng Jiu" the girl Shen Xu'er calls out to me as she walks to me. I was sitting in a chair, my hair cut short to my shoulders and my clothes changed to the latest trend, reading from a script for a drama I was suddenly casted in, replacing the lead Actress. It had been a few months since Xu'er found me and I was grateful that she took me in and helped me.

"Xu'er" I say after I looked up to her and smiled, she sets down a weird looking device in front of me. Then I realised it was a mobile phone, but I had never touched one before, I picked it up, turning it this way and that and jumped when the screen turned on and I looked at her.

"This is a phone, we use it to call people, text other people and also play games and such in our free time as well as taking photos" Xu'er said as her phone rang and she held up a hand mouthing to me to hold on as she walked away answering her call.

While she was on a phone call, I went on to familiarising myself with the phone as Xu'er walked back moments after her phone call and smiled to me. 

"Getting the hang of it yet?" she asked as I nod to her.

After a while, the make up team went on to comment out beautiful my cockscomb mark on my forehead looked and I told them I was born with it. After putting make up on my face and fixed my hair, I get up from my chair wearing the outfit I was to wear in the scene, the script left with my bag as I did a photo shoot.

For some odd reason, no one has ever met a beautiful woman like me before and I was quite shocked about that. After everything Xu'er did for me, taking me in while I tried to figure out to get back to my world, back to crying myself to sleep over a love I couldn't have.

After the photo shoot, Xu'er helped me pack up my stuff and walked me out the door as I thanked everyone for their hard work and Xu'er gently grabs my arm, stopping me, I turned to look at her.

"I have a surprise for you, since your done for the day and have been doing a great job since the day you came into the company, I can take you home now" Xu'er says as I smile to her. As the car stopped in front of the building, I opened the window and stuck my head out a little. 

"This isn't home" I say as I get back into the car. 

"It's your new home, paid for by your million dollar status" Xu'er said.

"Are you serious?" I asked, my eyes widened at the surprise as we get out of the car and the driver helped bring in my stuff as Xu'er took me on a tour around the house. 

The house was gorgeous, two stories with suites in each bedroom, the living room was larger then my Fox den, the bedroom bigger then mine back home with a bed that didn't look like mine, a proper bathroom.

I look to Xu'er and smile dreamily 

"This is way better then my home where I live" I say as I look to Xu'er and smile dreamily. 

"So this makes you want to stay here?" she asks. 

"Maybe, but I am worried about my aunt and family back home" I reply.

"Who is your family?" Xu'er asked as we sit on the softest couch ever! 

"My aunt is the Empress of the Heavenly Realm, I have a nephew named A-Li. I fell in love with a man that doesn't seem to love me back, whom also experienced a love trial for me" I smile sadly and shrug.

"I am so sorry that your a long way away from your family" Xu'er said and takes my hand in her's. After a while of talking, Xu'er's phone rings and she left the room to answer it, when she comes back, she smiles to me.

"We have a new Talent found, my friend Fu Pei is bringing him over so we can assess him" Xu'er says and I nod as I tell her that I would get changed for bed. I walked up the spiral staircase, into the bedroom that was mine, changing into a nightgown, a dressing gown over the dress. 

Wearing the soft slippers again, I walked down the stairs and when I reached the bottom, I got the surprise of my life.

The white haired man looked exactly like the man that I fell in love with, his hair tied up, wearing the same kind of clothes I was wearing from back home. When he saw me, his eyes widened. 

"Jiu'er" he said as he walked up to me. 

"Dijun?" I asked as he looked over me and I tighten the dressing gown tightly around my waist.

"You know him?" the guy beside Xu'er asked and I nod. 

"Yeah, he is from where I came from" I say looking at Xu'er as she gets the hint and nods before pushing him out of the house saying that she would talk to him the next day.

After a while, Dijun sat on the couch with Xu'er opposite him, I brought a tray with three empty cups faced down and a jug of water as I set the tray on the table and poured three glasses of water and setting them in front of them.

"Shen Xu'er, this is Dong Hua Dijun, a lord of the Heavenly Realm" I say as she bows her head to him.

"Pleasure to meet you, but there is something that I have been keeping from you both, about why and how you came here" Xu'er says looking at me with guilt written on her face.

"What is it?" I asked her. 

"I brought you both here, I used a drug in the peach wine to drug Feng Jiu and brought her here and drugged Dijun's tea by getting the maid to tell you it was peach tea brewed from the peach forest" Xu'er said and I shot up from the couch as my phone rang.

Dijun looked to me as I brought the phone out and answered the call, his shocked face as he watched me make conversation with the person on the other line. After the phone call, he looked at me. 

"You seem well updated" he said. 

"I become popular after I arrived here, I am now a celebrity, meaning I am a Idol, Actress and Model" I reply.

That night we sat at the round dining table, eating dinner in silence. Dijun wasn't speaking to Xu'er and he questioned the food if it was drugged or not and she explained that she heard our wishes to be together.

Xu'er slammed her fork and knife onto the table and stands up, a not so happy look on her face. 

"I brought you two here, because for one I know you both are in love with each other and this is me giving you both a chance to have the love here that you couldn't have back home, before I brought her here, Feng Jiu was crying herself to sleep" Xu'er said through gritted teeth.

"I told you that in confidence that you wouldn't tell anyone" I snap as I got up from my chair and walked from the dining table, up the spiral staircase and to my bedroom. Tomorrow was going to be a long day for me.
